I thought that based on tradition alone Wigan would lift themselves for the play offs.

    Terrible performance by them

Who have they signed for next season that’s going to make them better?

They will be worse with Hastings, Gildart and possibly Hardaker gone.

The punch on Gildart at the end means he'll miss at least next week if not the next two.
On that point, Leeds got all the decisions in the second half, very poor reffing. Didn't see first half so can't comment.

Wonder if they will go for Theo, half backs Field + Smith are doomed to fail.

The best thing about that was Jackson Hastings’ farewell speech.

Absolutely fantastic watching that. They’re a truly terrible side to watch. Gutted Lam is going, because surely they can only get better going forward, even if it’s Matty Peet in charge.

But for now we can just laugh at them. Awful awful team.

As bad as I’ve seen Wigan . Irrespective of what we feel about Wigan , with my rugby league fan head on , not one of those player are fit to wear a Wigan shirt . Utter garbage throughout the team. They have big issues at that club and as a rugby fan , I’m not sure that’s a good thing .

Super league is made up of 3 teams the rest are simply making up the numbers .

No one and just as important who is the coach going to be.

If its Waine can he turn this team around. He was succesful at Wigan before but going back doesn't always work out.

I was hoping for more from Wigan, I would have liked them to win this and then go to Catalan and give them a very physical semi-final.

If tomorrows game goes to form its looking likely that Catalan will have an easy semi to get to Old Trafford,

Saints & Warrington will knock lumps off each other, will the winner of that game have enough fuel left in the tank to win the Grand Final?

They’ve actually got players capable of playing much much better. But they’re coached by an absolute clown.

Give Justin Holbrook the likes of Hastings, Hardaker, Farrell, Gildart, Bateman and they’d be scoring plenty.

I have heard a rumour that Wigan’s next coach is going to be Winder . A sure sign that they have serious problems if it comes to fruition. His assistant may be a local lad !

Matty Peet is their next coach.

O’Loughlin will be one assistant. Briers rumoured to be another/attack coach.

2 nrl props coming in which will give them some leadership and power up front which they have lacked all season
Miski from london former manly player looks a real live wire and could be a danger
Thornley - LOL championship player at best failed at ever super league club hes been to. Cant see him being a regular starter
Hankinson - not confrimed if returning or not but hes another championship player not super league standard

Bit harsh. He's always looked solid. Second highest goals in the Championship and 14/15 tries in a mid-table London side. One of the questions at that wi*an fan forum asked about him. Apparently Lam and Peet have a grudge towards him for some unknown reason so he's unlikely to be there next season anyway.

According to someone on Twitter Wigan have the lowest points per game average of any team this year. Average 8.5 against top 6 teams and just 6 against the top 3. Their points difference at the end of the season was +2 (-6 if you include tonight), ours was +319.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

That’s Wigans problem. Money poorly spent. Taxi for Radlinski
Don't forget he played a season for free so they didn't go over the cap!

I think you're being kind there. Ellis has played 26 NRL games at the age of 25, Mago has 37 games and will be 27 by the time he gets here. They're massive gambles if Wigan are relying on them to lead the line and give leadership to the younger forwards.

That’s true , a good coach gets the best out of all , even mediocre players ! However you can only judge by consistent performance. None of the mentioned are and the rest are fit to wear a Wigan shirt !

I have heard slightly different, or at least I have been told that a proposal was put to the board last week Winder/Briers
