Hopefully they have a rock solid contract signed by Aus and NZ to attend next year ,with financial penalties shouls they pull out again.
I, for one, will NOT be going to any games next year as a matter of principle.
We have made a folly letting Aus and NZ dictate that without them it’s not worth playing.
Can't stop the spirits when they need you.
This life is more than just a read through.
Shame it’s not going ahead. I think there’s more to it but when there’s still 20,000+ cases of Covid a day, I can see why some may well have reservations about travelling here. That said, I think there’s more to it and the Australians wanting to control international rugby league, too, Covid has been somewhat of an excuse to ride on the coattails of.
It wouldn’t surprise me to see no World Cup next year, either. They’ll propose a new international calendar or make up some excuse about not wanting to come.

Cast iron guarantee wanted from Australia and New Zealand for next years world cup is the latest from this morning press conference.
Really weak decision by the governing bodies, they have made their international death bed. Now they will have to lie in it for some time I’d say. We have basically just given full power to V’Landy’s and his cronies at the NRL to decide the future of the international game.
We should have carried on with it .

Looks like it’s all systems go in 2022, until the NRL change their mind again anyway.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.
