He hasnt exactly improved warrington at all since he joined. His tactics are poor especially his decision to take the 2 points all the time regardless of the scoreboard (even when their behind)
Wire have a good squad on paper he just cant get the best outa them

He doesn't seem to have improved players with any significance either, lots of players over 30 now and coming to the end of their careers. The wire seem to be OK making ground between the 20 metre lines but when it comes to the last 10 metres they are lost for ideas and thats a weakness from Price.

When you look at their club stats they are an offloading team that is not productive to scoring try's, Saints 79 tries Wire 55 and less tackle busts and clean breaks.

Until his untimely death I would have backed Frank Sidebottom to take over at Wire the fans are all big empty heads and he would have been perfect.
On the Back foot looking for the front one.

I think his tactics have frustrated the wire fans. That being said he could read Justin Holbrook like a book and he seems to get away with his "White Collar Crimes".

I suspect they will go British and won't be better because of it, alternatively Andrew Henderson is probably due a first team coach job, he would be a good candidate.
I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong.

I do wonder who they'll be looking towards to replace him?

Brian McDermott? After Toronto, would he want back into the top half of SL
Steve McNamara? How long do Catalans coaches usually last?
    In house, Briers?

Not sure who's who in upcoming coaches in the NRL.

As an alternative, they could go for Count Arthur Strong, elderly, pompous, music hall turn with delusions of grandeur, harking on about past glories.

Death wouldn't have stopped Frank voting in the U.S. elections, why should it stop him coaching Wire?

It was Woolf’s team that got ‘nilled in the “Champions beating Championship” IIRC???

Not especially, the smooth surface wipes down easily.
