Bobby Goulding was the reason why Saints were so successful at that time and he kick started a golden era for our club.
He was very talented - but he was a born winner & HATED losing....
I remember on a number of occasions when Saints were losing in a game - Bobby would do something to start a brawl - which ignited the crowd to get behind Saints - and we would usually end up winning the game.
Unfortunately with players who live on the edge - he ended up with a few long bans and some well documented off field problems.

I was in the former all week until I woke up this morning feeling sick. Felt sick all day. Give me a Saturday in the pubs with a 6pm kick off rather than waiting around all day in work for 8pm.

I’ve been quite calm all week, partly because it’s been a busy week of work. Even at lunchtime today I wasn’t really feeling it. I’m absolutely bricking it now though.

Our pack will decide this match. If we front up and match them, our backs are too strong. The question is will our forwards who are admittedly slightly less consistent than Wigan's perform like they're able?

Hopefully our defence will match the Catalans effort, if so, it's ours.

Lets hope we front up and Woolf isnt overly conservative which will play into their hands. I dont rate them through their 1-17. But, if we play a Bradford Bulls gameplan we will lose.

First penalty to us. That's a first. How's that on Graham not been done?

3 minutes and already a high shot plus an off the ball hit.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Case in point of why the video ref should be able to get involved and call that off the ball hit, clearly been missed by Kendall.

I thought it would be a lot later before the ref made a howler

Getting one out of every two decisions we should be at the moment. Better than I was expecting.
