    Default Dream Team

    1. Lachlan Coote
    2. Tommy Makinson
    3. Kevin Naiqama
    4. Konrad Hurrell
    5. Ash Handley
    6. Blake Austin
    7. Jackson Hastings
    8. Liam Watts
    9. Daryl Clark
    10. Luke Thompson
    11. Liam Farrell
    12. Josh Jones
    13. Morgan Knowles

Accumulative points based system deciding the team this year. Only 5 players from the side that won the league by 16 points.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Really not sure how Lomax hasn't made the cut.

I find it pretty hard to argue with. Lomax certainly has a case. Walmsley does too but Watts has been impressive this season. Other than that, would you say any other saints player deserves to be in over those chosen?

Didn't we have 7 in it last year and we have been more dominant this year! The exclusion of Lomax is staggering for me!

    Lomax missing out is ridiculous.
Thought Peyroux had a good chance of being in there, first half of the season in particular he was outstanding.

No idea how Handley is in there.

    Grace and Lomax unlucky.
How many games has Farrell played in????!! I thought he’s always out injured?
I don’t pay too much attention to other clubs but Watts? Mmmm.
Walmsley has showed huge character to return from a broken neck this year and had some fantastic games. He must have been close to making the team. He walked all over Watts when we won at Cas a few months back.

This is the problem with a points based system. Austin would win top marks most weeks at Wire but Lomax will be up against other top players

This is the main point IMO, needs to be taken into account. Contradicts what you see with your own eyes really.

Part of me wishes they snubbed all of our players. That sort of thing motivates players no end. If we go into a big game with Lomax up against Austin i know who my money’s on.

I don’t think Austin and Farrell good enough over the whole season, for me swap them for Jonny Lomax and Jack Hughes.

While I would have picked Lomax, I can at least see the argument for Austin. I can't however see how Watts is in before Walmsley. Alex has had the better of him every time we've played and had a great season in general.

Unfortunately it’s all based on a points system reverend.

I think Ellery Hanleys on the MOS panel. So Paulo may be in with a shot of winning that.

Made up for Morgan Knowles. Always seems to get over looked, very underrated player, especially by other teams fans.

Its nice to see him being recognised.

He’s quality. His best game was at Castleford in the play offs in 2017. He tackled everything walking that night.

If Austin had to play against Knowles every week he would be nowhere near the Dream Team. Knowles is one that has really kicked on.

If there's a target ie Austin , Hastings , Knowles always does a great job , player and ball every time , I don't think for one minute this lad is underated , listen to the "pundits" on the box everyone of them saying good things.
roy litherland it's happened i told you it would
