Well deserved. Has carried the pack at times through his saints career and seems to keep improving year on year. What a player.

Glad Mr Kear pointed him in our direction

Walmsley a testimonial.......................god i'm getting old. does not feel like 10yrs since he first signed?
Absolutely deserved, as said before he's carried our pack at times and I'm pretty confident if he didn't break his neck in 2018 we'd have won another grand final. To come back from the type of injury he had and not let it affect his game is incredible. Not only that, his game has improved so much from being a clumsy big guy to a genuine world-class front-rower. It is a big call, but I think he could be Saints' best ever prop.
Well deserved, surely our best signing from the lower leagues in a very long time

Best thing is the loyalty he has shown to the club over his peak years, a raw diamond at first then dominated that pack position in superleague since 2015. Seems to have a good strike rate for a prop over the last couple of years may it continues.
Been an outstanding player and bloke throughout his time at Saints.
To come back from that horrific injury in '18 and lead the pack and club to Grand Final glory is nothing short of extraordinary.
Well deserved.
Throw them round like confetti these days.
Must be a daunting prospect for the opposition to see him come back on for his second spell in a game. One of the greats.
Wonder if we will play Batley as a result of this in a pre-season friendly?
As fans we can be biased but when opposition players like Jamie Peacock say that he was one of the players he could never get over the top of you that is testament enough.
On Flash & Jon Wilkin`s podcast Alex credited Keiron with his development, one of KC`s better moments as coach.
It was about 2 seasons ago the coaches had Walmsley doing more workload in a game and certain props were trying to dominate they failed on both counts. Seem to remember Watts put in a big effort but struggled to keep the pressure on Alex in that last quarter of a game.
Id say in the last 4/5 years, the only prop that's got close to being as good, is Thompson.

Really looking forward to this game now, hopefully a good turn out for big Al and a loud fanbase to welcome the new recruits.
I think our Leigh squad of 17 + 2 Saints players picks itself, sadly
