    I think there's a case for a few people.

    Tulsen Tollet
    Jodie Cunningham
    Jon Wilkin
    Brian Carney
    Jenna Brooks

    Anyone else?
Tony Rea was Ok, I thought Tollet was OK as well, but I think I would prefer more recent players than both of them.

George Riley did a good job on the Widnes match today

All those listed above aren't commentators though

The same George Riley suspended from the BBC? I know he enjoyed rugby league, but haven't heard any more of him since his suspension

I presume he's been reinstated, he was on final score yesterday?

Sorry BS should have read "having/needing" to cut he's ties with Cas , apologies. Judging what's coming out of Cas , it seems someone is standing on someone's toes , with the coach not liking it .

Yeh he actually does a good analysis, apart from his accent and having his head on upside down.

No without TV money the whole infrastructure would crumble which is true of any major sport. SKY have enjoyed an almost cartel like hold over RL TV rights negotiation for years due to Woods and Barwick self serving back scratching and abject failure to negotiate with other worthy providers. In this time RL has been the guinea pig for many cringeworthy ideas that no other self respecting sport would have gone near or involved in its negotiations.

SKY are' nt some sort of philanthropist entity out to save the game, they are a media company which have taken the opportunity to add and maintain a sport in their portfolio on beneficial terms to them. As you say their coverage has become lazy, sloppy and self satisfied. Neville Smith and his side kick Hemming's should have been turned out years ago.

And he sounds like he's got a mouth full of marbles when he speaks.
I personally always like to hear what Adrian Morley has got to say when he's on. Speaks very well and obviously knows what he's on about.
