KNOWSLEY ROAD 1890-2010. A part of history soon to be no more...the place that meant so much to so many people. Farewell old lady, forever in our hearts.

Nope, not that there's anything wrong with those places though.

Disapointing for the academy lads, but Leeds were outstanding at Knowsley road to claim home advantage for the final.

Its sad for them not to win it. But i would rather the kids be good enough to compete in these finals than be a lower level academy side, which was the case a few years ago when Saints academy was relegated to lower division status.

Remember as well that Leeds should win at academy level as their service area is composed of a city of 3/4 million people. We get our players from a town of 150k.

The term relegated is inappropriate. Those were the days when the Colts and A Teams were scrapped for a new Academy league. Each Division was formed from scratch each year from group stages at the beginning of the season and the top performers from each group formed the top Division. A good team only had to lose a couple of matches early doors whilst they were still settling into their campaign and they were unluckily consigned to the lower Division. In terms of development, this system sucked and it was removed in favour of the old system.
