KNOWSLEY ROAD 1890-2010. A part of history soon to be no more...the place that meant so much to so many people. Farewell old lady, forever in our hearts.

I used to try get under the screen at Headingley (mainly out of vanity so i could see myself as it went to the Video ref) but the screen is a distraction at times, and besides, if you're right underneath it you can't really see whats going on anyway. Trust me, for atmosphere and singing the scoreboard is the best place to go.

Glad I Ain't the only one! lol lol

I gave that up at the semi @ HJ. Stood right in front, looked back you couldn't see a thing. I'm going to need a good sing song if the forecast's anything to go by!

We did. Fantastic game to watch, even though we lost. He thoroughly enjoyed his first game

We did go and stand under the score board. I didn't stop singing all game! Once he knew the words to a few of our songs, he started joining in, but I walked away with my throat killing, a few octaves lower than usual! And once the fight broke out.... brilliant lol

I lived in London for eighteen months and my other half still lives down there so I know all about that particular commute.

Yeah its way too costly and time consuming for me to go during the holidays. Not sure what it'd be like during term time from Loughborough though..

I might try to make a few 'quins games next summer, much more convenient. I dont really support anyone but I'd say I'm interested in Saints and Quinns, so watching either of them play would be good for me =)

I must admit, I went to watch a few Harlequins games whilst I was down there. The Quins fans are very firendly and very welcoming and the team play some attractive Rugby at times. Its great that you can turn up to a neutral RL game wearing a shirt representing neither of the two teams playing and have no trouble whatsoever.

Are you hoping to get to one of the playoff games?

I would do but I doubt any of them are being played down south? It could be quite costly getting up to any of the others, with also the issue of having to find somewhere to stay (I dont currently drive).

I'm from West Sussex and make it up about 4 or 5 times a season. Have met up with the exiles and they are very friendly and welcoming bunch.
