Not really sure about the value of the award to be honest but if Fisher-Harris doesn't win it, I will be amazed.

Up there with Ruben Wiki him as to how good be is, arguably better

Could go anywhere. It's the award for who has performed best in international matches. Tommy Makinson won it in 2018 as only the 5th Englishman to win it joining Ellery Hanley, Garry Schofield, Andy Farrell and Kevin Sinfield. It's a pretty illustrious list when you look back at former winners so definitely a valuable win to the individual player.

Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

    I see what you mean

No prop has won it yet. I say Fisher-Harris because I think he's been a real powerhouse for NZ

I've just looked at the list out of interest, lots of Australians as you'd expect. When did Wally Lewis play for Wakefield? I remember seeing him at Knowsley Road in a tour game I think.

Around about 1984 or 85 I think. He came over in the Aussie off season. He was reportedly paid £1,000 per game for his short stint over here.

Thanks. Some money back then, especially in the north around that time.

There were rumours ,not sure how true, that the other Wakey lads who were probably on a fraction of that and even less for a loss just kept giving him the ball . Probably to earn his money as much as because of his ability .

You can bet he took a few , shall we say , "hard tackles"

Never lost a game whilst he was here either if I recall correctly.

Won 5, lost 5. Wakey were relegated after he went back to Aus.
