Here we go. Happy enough with that. Saturday evening kick off at Huddersfield is a bonus. I wouldn't of minded the Catalan away game being a month later but at least if won't be roasting hot.

I can see a lot of these fixtures moving due to SKY showing all games on TV.

They look like they have already taken that into account. At least for the fiorst 10 rounds as littered with different days and KO times. Going to be shown on SKY (red button) and Our League app.

Will hit a lot of attendances badly i think. Particularly Broncos.

Superleague should not allow games to be played at same time..............Ridiculous.

I know its the quality of commentary and punditry is getting worse but I can't see allowing SKY games at the same time being acceptable in that regard.

I'm really unsure as to what to do with a ST for this season. Looking at the fixtures, our home games are predominantly Friday nights but my worry is how many will be moved? Saturdays and Sundays are no good for me with my lads sports

Just copied this from a Sky statement on Twitter

Part of the statement reads: “For the first 15 rounds of the season, with the exception of Rivals Round, Sky Sports subscribers will have exclusive access to two matches per week.

“The remaining four matches of each round will be shown live on Sky Sports and Rugby League’s own streaming platform – with further details to be announced early in the New Year.”

    Clear as mud

Difficult to decide for you. I’ve just looked and we are down for 17 8pm games so assume they will be Thurs/ Friday. Looked at Wire for a comparison and they are down for 15 8pm games.
Just read that Sky will be showing 2 games a week for Sky subscription customers, the others will be on a streaming system/s and will be charged. I personally don’t think Sky will ensure all games are played at different times (like NRL does), so I just assume we could be playing live on Sky 8pm with the other 2 Friday games being streamed at the same time? I doubt they will change many game days from what’s been shown. They might fiddle at the back end of the season when games have more relevance.
Humans are more concerned with having than being.

You will have to pay to watch the streamed games.

It's all so misleading and ambiguous at the minute. My interpretation is that there will be two games shown live on SKY Sports as normal. Then the rest will be available to watch on a pay per view basis on some sort of streaming service or a red button option on SKY perhaps.

This fanciful notion that all games would be on TV with staggered kick offs and all 6 games having a standalone kick off time was always too good to be true.

But 3 at Home and 1 Away to start the season, which, looking at the opponents, is a relatively "easy" start to the campaign (London, Huddersfield, Leigh and Salford)
If we don't have 8 points after these four rounds, then we'll need to take a serious look at what and how we are doing things.
I'd rather the club has time to build into the season, rather than face to top teams from the off.

To be honest I think it is pretty clear from a SL statements point of view but the media have led with headlines that have confused everyone.

From the outset they've said it's 2 on SKY.

Maybe 1 on C4/free to air some weekends if there's a deal.

The rest is on a PPV platform but is produced by SKY so the quality will be a lot better than standard Our League.

From 16 onwards they can move stuff as usual.

I,m assuming we are are having video refs at every game, just wondering if we are going to have the big screen at the ground for wvery game as well. Most fans look at the video replay to make their own judgent be it bias or not. If we don't have a big screen I can see the video ref being more ambiguous on there decisions because its not transparent to supporters,.
