Default Women's semi final - Lets get behind it

    Saturday 23rd September:
    Kick-off at 6pm
    Totally Wicked Stadium
    Match entry prices for non-Members: Adults – £5, Concessions – £3, Under 16’s – £2
FREE admission for season ticket holders/members

Big game for the women's team as they face Leeds in the Super League semi final. It'd be good if we could get behind this and hopefully get a decent crowd on board. Saints men are playing the previous day, so not excuses to miss this. Watch the 3pm Premier League game of choice on your dodgy box or at the pub and then get down to the Wicked for this. We beat them at Wembley to win the Challenge Cup in August, but then lost to them at home in the league a couple of weeks ago.

I'll be there, expecting a bigger crowd than normal for this one.

Yep should be good. Not a bad crowd last Sunday.

Why don't they let season ticket holders in for nothing it would boost the crowd massively

They do for all the Ladies and Academy games.

It says season ticket holders go free in the original post.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Was only in capitals to be fair though. Obviously couldn't be arsed to put it in bold.

Yeah, they do. I suspect this is a good reason there aren't more in attendance. If a fan keen enough about the club to have a season ticket and post on forums doesn't know this, I suspect a good chunk of the fan base doesn't either. The club do include that on their social media updates, but you never actually take notice of details like that.

Maybe a specific email to all season ticket holders might be in order.

I've got plenty of excuses. I'll be watching the Premier League game of my choice in the stadium. :-)

Shakes head in disappointment. Anyway, be a good citizen and tell ten other people to go to the semi final when you're out and about tomorrow.

Gutted that they lost, but they've seemed off it a little recently. Hoping York get their maiden GF win; be good for the game and I can't stand Leeds.

The womens game is brutal I've decided today. There's so much hitting out in the tackles, so much going on on the floor. The knee to the head by Leeds was a disgrace and should have been dealt with by the referee and so should Amy Hardcastle's knee. It was just ridiculously dangerous and she full on caught the Saints player and again the referee has to step in there and give a penalty.

One major contributing factor on the day was the pitch. It's shocking and it was hard for them to get any sort of move going. It's going to make it hard for the mens team in the playoff against Warrington too.

It'll have had 4 games this week by the end of today with awful weather, they've moved three of the forces games to Thatto Heath, else it'd have been in an even worse state.

I do however think against Warrington, a slow pitch suits us
