That was utterly stupid from Welsby.

Good job Welsby made that stupid pass to Hardaker. If it was Dodd the vitriol on here would
    Be embarrassing

Awesome work from Davies saving a try, then turning the scrum resulting in saints going all the way down field and scoring. But you will have missed that as he did not score.

Regardless of the result, our 1,6 and 7 look so disjointed to me.

Well said. The reason why we win 4 SL titles on the trot and are world champs is just as much down to the Ben Davies as it is to the Alex Walmsleys.

Nope, our defence isn’t fine, it’s outstanding. And it’s the reason Leigh are looking knackered now. But you have nothing to say about that. Naturally.

He will blame Dodd for Leigh’s try. He will also blame Dodd for Covid, famine and global warming

No way Dodd is to blame for global warming. He is no where near important enough to generate any significant carbon footprint.

That terrible pass from Welsby was Dodds fault

Is that the first non Saints player to get the two minutes off for effectively faking injury this year? I know we've had two but don't know of any others.

His head seemed to hit the ground quite hard so it may be unfair to say he was faking injury

Superb, play-offs intensity game by two genuine top 4 sides. Very nearly all square with 6 mins to go there. Phew.

The ref ignored 3 high tackles before any of this played out but still. WTF!! We deserved to concede a try there. Wake up saints!

Just thought exactly the same. Maybe the refs are getting royally p****d off with being chatted to at half time?

James Bell deserved to score that. He's had a blinder, but so has Batch tbf

I wish those two would have had a chance to go at Asiata tonight. Ground staff may have had a few craters to fill in.

You're not kidding. Worth the admission fee alone would that.

How many banned then do we think? Percy had a few high shots. Sione will always get picked out too.

James Bell player of the match and very well deserved. He absolutely lampooned Amone all night

James Bell is brilliant. The commentary have picked up on how much better we are with him at 13. Surely now he cannot be shifted out of that 13 spot by anyone.

It was a good win, great defence.
Maybe if the French assistant can just keep his mouth shut for the rest of the year, we have a chance.
Mixed emotions after that. Wilkin has called out the poor attack too.

Think Percy will get a game and there was a shot by Bell that looked like he may not have wrapped his arms so could be classed as a shoulder charge (but wasn’t high), haven’t seen a proper replay of it so it might have been fine.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we pick up a few as it was on Sky so there will be loads of replays and lots of big hits so I’m sure the MRP will find something. If all games were played with that intensity then super league would be doing well.

Can we stop giving advice. All tackles were fine.
