Nice touch by the club and all those Roby 532 posters looked impressive all over the Ground. Thought he responded well by putting in a good performance, chuffed he celebrated with a win.

Clearly no body from the club could be bothered to proof read the card though. It said “Please hold your card up when the the players come out”
“The” repeated twice. Absolute amateurish

Maybe but it’s hardly like they weren’t aware of the occasion. They’ve had months to plan. Not too much to ask is it- an error free card?

He was absolutely everywhere today. He looked like he had a spring in his step, almost cut through a few times.
Happy I was there to witness his record breaking game.
Apart from the arguments about the cards, I believe his longevity and consistency do make him the GOAT. Keep it up for the rest of the season and enjoy your retirement
The greatest player of the super league era. And one of the best of all time.
Cunningham, Roby.. follow that I'm dreading Roby retiring
I may not have seen enough of him to make this call.. but I would go all out to get hold of Jarred from Leeds.

It’s not a moan per se. It links to how poor we are off the field for a Champion club. There’s lots more we can achieve than we are doing IMO.
There’s nothing wrong in wanting to raise standards and given we’ve known about this record for so long I don’t think it’s too much to ask to have a little more attention to detail.

Great event, the preceeding Academy game was excellent too. I think the second half performance by the first team was a return to the intensity under Woolfe, which, given the heat was no mean feat. Some good performances with Dodd actually putting in some decent kicks which allowed the chasers an opportunity to rattle Salford. Some odd officiating and decsions but exactly what you expect from Kendall. Quite how one week a player can get sent off for swearing at an official (quite rightly) yet the next a player can throw water at a ref or kick the ball away and not get ten minutes when we've seen the likes of Welsby punished for the latter I don't follow. Consistency, that's the issue. Still, it didn't spoil the day and Robes looked like he enjoyed it. The banner was great and the chants of "One more year" were truly moving. Great all round day. Watching it back on C4 later reminded me of why you can't beat being there!
Absolutely agree. Such a shame to have low standards. Also agree that it was a missed opportunity to push the game across the borough. Great having local kids teams at half time too. I'd bet that the comms team employed around the WCC has been reduced because we seemed to really pick up around that time.
Roby - such a great ambassador for the town and sport.
Just wondering, did anyone get to see who all the ex-players were that formed the guard of honour? I only spotted Theo, Amor and Hunte. I've scrolled through the photos and videos posted by Saints but not been able to make out too many.
Our next hooker has an impossible task
How do you follow Roby ? If you are not compared to the GOAT you will be compared to Kieran who must run him close for being the GOAT
We have been spoilt
Yep I've not forgot how good KC was.
On his day keiron was just another level to anyone else. Including Roby.
Roby is just consistently brilliant.
Wilkin has said it best. Roby pretty much never dips below 9 out of 10
Kieron would hit 11 out of 10 but overall Roby is the greatest in my eyes. And I imagine most of the rugby league world.
So as far as I can gather. Clarke and Leeming are the 2x front runners right?
