    Default Challenge Cup

Obviously a home draw coming this evening is our favourite but which clubs do we believe should be avoided until we achieve a more consistent performance?
I'll kick off with Wigan, HKR, Warrington... all Away

I want Halifax away, love going there. In reality we'll likely get Huddersfield, Hull KR or Warrington away.

I think I just want us to get the easiest possible draw first and foremost. So London at home but any champ club at home be great.

Might be a dull afternoon but you're in the next round and that's the important thing.

London, Halifax, York all be good away trips.

Catalan be great as I can't go next week but that's a very difficult draw so I hope we avoid.

I think Wigan, Wire or Catalan H or A is the games we don't want really. Yes we could win but save them for later rounds/hope they get eachother.

Batley away for me, I always used to enjoy going there. York away would be a good day out too.

    Bring them all on.

If you want to win it we shouldnt fear anyone, but if were not going to win it, I would rather lose in the first round and take the weeks off later in the season.

Wanting to avoid clubs is the wrong attitude to have IMO!

Definitely win it or go out first round. I wouldn’t mind us winning it and having other clubs moan that we got easy draws all the way.

I would prefer to avoid the big Super League clubs, not because I don't think we will win, but because it would give us the opportunity to rest a few agaisnt a championship team which is needed. Gives you a competitive advantage going into the next few weeks of games. It also gives the opportunity for fringe players to get more experience strengthening the depth of the squad. It's quite a valuable thing to be able to do for me.

I disagree. Even when we've been dominant, I've wanted to draw the weakest sides, especially in the early rounds, where it can be used as an opportunity to rest some players with knocks and give playing time to some fringe players.

I've never been a fan of resting players, especially when you are in a good run of form - why would you want to change or risk the flow/balance/quality of the team when that team is winning, or benching form players only for them not to have the same form/impact when they come back in? I get it from a rest/long term injury POV, but I'd rather us just put our best team possible out every week no matter who we are playing.

6 or 7 of the players who played last week were playing through injury, Makinson has been for weeks and it caught up. It's not necessarily about 'resting' players in a long term strategy but more players who are already injured not having to play because the squad is already so depleted.

At home against the worst team possible would be my preference until we are less depleted!

If we can get our players back from injury & suspension then i don't fear anyone? But we must be due some home draws. Can't remember the last CC at home?

Wigan at home would be good

York away please. Just down the road from me. It’s a great ground as well.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Can't agree with that - everyone wants to maximise their chances of winning trophies and easy draws in early rounds do exactly that, with the added benefit of allowing us to rest players and use the squad.

You get the same Trophy if you beat all the good teams or sneak into the final. Lets hope we get a manageable game so we can recover form and fitness.

Home draw is the most important thing. Given the way the competition has been done this year we are more likely to draw a SL team.

Four games to win a trophy that we haven't won that often in recent history. Quarter Finals are probably the biggest potential banana skin as it is the last chance to get a nasty away draw.

Number 11 in the bag, lets hope for a good one.
I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong.

London away. Would be the 6th ground I’ve seen Broncos call home, I think.

The tin foil hat brigade won't be happy. They can't say that there is an RFL agenda against us now. :-)

    Jodie ignored the instructions

Just wait until we get the winners of York London in the quarters!
