    Default Leigh pre match entertainment

Scouting for Girls, fair enough, but the rest is just cringeworthy.

Most of it not for me either but I'll never knock a club for having a go. I'm sure the kids in attendance will have enjoyed the fireworks and fire displays.

We desperately need more people through the doors so fair play to Leigh for going beyond the usual.

But I thought IMG we're going to make everything more professional. Derek Beaumont's jacket though.

Yeah I'll not argue in favour of Beaumont's jacket.

That jacket of his deserves a 3 match ban on Tuesday alone but joking apart DB has put his money where his mouth is so good luck to him can’t argue with his commitment to Leigh and the game over all

I’m all for having a go at making it more of a show, if it sells tickets for them then carry on. Let’s not forgot Knowsley Road had a disco ball in the popular stand not that long ago

    The questions to ask are:
Did those in attendance enjoy the theatrics?
Did the theatrics draw in anyone new to the sport? Or even new to attending games.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

And it doesn't matter how embarrassing and naff it is? Or should we be aspiring to a better standard?

Think they said 8.5K were at the game last night, which is good for Leigh.

Shame for them they couldn't get the victory, but were competitive at least.

Thought Salford showed they'll be good to watch again this year. Croft repaid some of his new contract with some quality moments.

See Wigan lost to HKR earlier. Some good games to start the new season.
