Rather like the Vaughan incident, let's have some consistency, French must be banned for deliberate contact with an official, innocuous or not, thems the rules matey!

He's been cited and fined twice already this season. It has to be picked up, especially after the Mbye contact which was comical

The two things are not interdependent.
We've had players routinely banned for tackling a kicker/passer a fraction of a second after they've kicked/passed, when dozens of other incidents - involving players of other clubs - of tackling kicker/passer a fraction of a second after they've kicked/passed have been unpunished.
Almost universally, people in here have said the 4 games for Vaughan was ridiculous punitive (as were previous such bans, including by one of our players last season).
It's a statistical curiosity, though, that players for teams facing Warrington next up have suffered some harsh bans.
FWIW, I think Wigan consistently get shown the most leniency. Exhibit 'A' is that genetically-deficient mutant Smithies thrusting his over-sized and misshapen head into the faces of opposition players. Been warned about it a few times, but never any action taken.
A specific incident that springs to mind was earlier in the season when (IIRC) Wardle (may have been King) lined up O'Brien who passed it and Wardle/King hit him with the shoulder into the neck/jaw later than Hurrell had hit Myler (2 game ban). O'Brien failed the HIA. Was amongst the worst late & high hit I've seen this season. No ban. (Incidentally, the scum played us next week; I think Wardle scored and we lost)
He's not the Messiah, he's a naughty boy.
Too much evidence to confirm we are treated differently than most clubs. There was a vicious head tackle on Delaney last night which should have been a yellow card at least and on Monday if it was Lees, Sironen or Matautia its a a 1 or 2 game ban. The Hull player will probably will just end up with a fine. Cullen and Co need to be sacked off and start again with some people who up to speed with the modern game.
You may have missed the 2 extremely lengthy bans Maguire got. I’m not disputing that if he used the word alleged he should’ve been banned. I do dispute that words should attract harsher bans than physical violence. Never the less if you look on our forum you’ll see the main person on there complaining about injustice is not a Wire fan but your very own Saddened.
I see the same comments from fans of every other team.
Sky sports love saints. Refs in saints pocket etc..
I've got over the bias, and just settled with incompetent and inconsistent disciplinary.
There needs to be a shake up for sure

George Delaney 1 match ban for a high tackle.
Wigan will have Ellis, Hill and French missing for their eliminator. Hull and Leigh will more than fancy their chances with French missing
Edit... Wigan will use the academy grand final to count against their bans ... I'm guessing we'll do the same with Delaney. An embarrassing rule
Surely the teams they’ll face in the playoffs will make some form of appeal? French will have never played a reserve game and I doubt Ellis has, either.

I'm sorry if I'm being a bit thick, but how can French use the Academy Grand Final as one of his banned games? Wasn't it Saturday?
Ive got you - cheers for clearing that up.
