Those of you with the Watch NRL app can watch a program with him on Monday night- Face to Face where he is interviewed about it
NB anyone who doesn’t have the app should get it. It’s fantastic value, I watch loads of NRL programs on it.

In a bad way
Terrible news. Good luck to him.
So sorry to see this news on the BBC website. Six months after the accident he's still in a bad way although he has gradually had a little more feeling in various limbs, which is hopeful. Just hope he makes the best recovery possible. He was so good for Saints, coaching one of our best ever teams. Great days.
Good piece on the Face to Face interview. We (Saints) are heavily featured on it with interviews with Wellens and Roby.
Nice touch that the club went to see him when over in Aus for the WCC, he seemed to really respect that.
Heartbreaking to see Nathan Hindmarsh having to hold his coffee cup for him whilst he drinks it.

Sad to hear.
I was only maybe 15 or so when he joined Saints and I remember around that time there was a massive kick off around Millward going, but that soon was forgotten. Although we did not win it in his first year despite finishing 1st, 2006 was one of the best Saints teams of my era.
He was the right fit for us after the Millward era and turned us into a dominant machine.
Video here for anyone interested. He has some serious mental strength, you look at his facial expression and you don’t see a guy who has had his world turned upside down. Fingers crossed for him that he makes a good recovery.

A tough but inspiring watch. Loved him as the coach here (after thinking Millward was irreplaceable). That 2006 season particularly was special - we still had within the team a lot of that Millward adventurous rugby skill, but Anderson added a defensive solidity that made us invincible in big games.
Heartbreaking to see - and a reminder how fragile we ultimately all are. Hope he gets back enough movement & functionality in time to live a relatively normal life
He's not the Messiah, he's a naughty boy.
Just watched the video, straight away I thought it doesn't sound like him then a few minutes in he explains the injury had changed his voice. Really tough period when couldn't sleep and lay on his back staring at a clock for 23 hours a day. Lot of fight and determination in him which probably portrayed what he did for our club over the years.
Think he mentioned 2 yrs of rehab to get his personal future goals, hope all goes well for him.
