    Default Bully boy

Well done Michael Smith, finally got the monkey off his back and won a televised major darts final (grand slam).
Now hopefully he can kick on and bring the world title to the town.

Yes really chuffed for Bully Boy, you could see how much it meant to him. Kick on now and become World Champ.

At least one St Helens thrower will be through to the semis of the world championship with Smith taking on Bunting in the quarter finals
Good luck to whoever wins and bring the world title to the town.

This town absolutely astounds me. I knock it massively when I’m back. It’s not where I grew up, it’s been allowed to fall into a poorer state through the government decisions and it saddens me sometimes but it’s a special, special little town. To produce the athletes the place continues to churn out is phenomenal.

Fantastic game tonight and tournament overall. Well in Bully.

There's only Labour that's ruined this town. Been going to the dogs for a lot longer than there's been a Tory government in power.

Well done bully boy, brilliant result!!

There is funding available for regeneration of the town centre, has been there for four years no will or agreement by governance to go ahead with the plan. Pre-covid Eamonn said he will make a mission of it his to start this. He might be the right man to put it into action.
I agree we have a rich sporting culture that should be lauded more than it is, rugby, soccer, boxing, darts etc.
    Sorry for derailing the thread.
