Panthers will now be able to call in the big guns for the game it seems- https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl...2bf25a0e872a4a
Can only see a comfortable Penrith victory.

They'll all play but they'll still underestimate us I reckon
Presume we will be playing under Aussie rules. If so they've introduced new interpretations, but no new rules this season.

Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.
Sky are showing some of the the NRL trials as well, so not too long now 'till there's some games to watch!

Sorry if some has said this already but it would be great if C4 and Sky bring up that a lot of the players have played against each other at academy level on the Saints tours.

It would have great nostalgia
Edit:
A great picture of Nathan Cleary with Mike Rush in this one.

I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong.
Cheers Noel, if you scroll down to the bottom of the first link, the last pic (guy in Saints training top and cap) is my brother who lives in Penrith. He’s a Panthers season ticket holder but was a home and away Saints fan when in Blighty. He always attends the games when the academy lads play and I’ll send him the link. Brightened up my day, thanks.

Morgan Knowles wants the rest of England and Superleague to get behind St Helens and hope we win this WCC.
NOT A CHANCE MORGAN: Every Superleague club will want Saints to Fail. Its in our DNA. No way if the shoe was on the other foot would i want Wigan/Leeds to win this WCC.
Its just St Helens I'm afraid Morgan.
It's a mini tournament Saints and the 17 NRL clubs playing 2 matches each 100 grand prize money obviously 1 of saints matches is Penrith for the world club prize

I'd support any British team, even Wigan.
Am I the only one?

Not at all. I was right behind Wigan when they played the Broncos on their own midden for the WCC, and still think their win is one of the best achievements ever by a British team, club or international.
Panthers have injury problems to there 2 second rowers? won't be risked.

I think if SL teams won often then you wouldn't want Wigan winning it but now I always want the SL team to win as the competition needs it badly.
Fans of Wigan/Wire etc may enjoy it if Penrith beat us by 30 points but when the dust settles what on earth does it say about their sides who have watched us win it 4 in a row.
Everyone looks better if Saints do well.
