    I'm sure you're right, loads of players had a top game. Like you, I'm basing my choice of Sironen on what I saw at the game. His defence on our line in the first half, and his carries were fantastic. I haven't had time to watch it back yet and I'm sure many more will stand out.

    once Sironen managed to avoid suspensions, he became an immense player for us this year.

    True.
    He is probably the most physical and brutal tackler we have, including Knowles, and it took him a while to get it right. Is this a sign that NRL is more accepting of more physical challenges?

    100%

    I've seen hits in NRL and NRLW that would be penalties over here, Super League can't seem to distinguish the difference between a hard hit and an illegal hit

    It will be interesting to see how he goes next year, was his success this year just an extended case of new coach bounce, its a long season to keep the impetus goingv
