HAHA mate, just said the same to my dad! Him and McBanana will be throwing their frogs legs out the pram!

James Child will need a police escort for actually standing up to Catalans' rubbish!

Leeds have played a smart game, they've wound up Catalans players, with yellow & red cards Catalan were at least a man short for most of the second half.

Sezer had possibly his best game for them and even Myler looked good.

Hopefully that will be there "final" and if they play is next week they wont be able to be as good

McNamara will be sat with a face like a sack of slapped arseholes blaming the ref. Appalling discipline from Catalans. We know Bentley’s game but beyond that there were some shocking meltdowns from McIllorum (brainlessly going in high in front of the ref one tackle after a bust up), Pearce (bleating at ref) and Dudson (behaving like a barroom yob). Hopefully people will realise the anti rugby Catalans play.

Terrible advert for the sport that. About 10 minutes of rugby and 70 minutes of niggly grubby nonsense.

If Saints or Wigan aren't giving that Leeds team a pasting next week they need their heads banging together.

If both sides don’t have players suspended after that there is something seriously wrong. But we all know the MRP make weird decisions.

Absolutely! They only have themselves to blame. McBanana saying there was a lot of 'frustration' from his side, which I interpreted as him basically saying "Frustration because the ref was pants". They beat themself tonight, McIllorum never fails to behave like a grub and Mitchell Pearce should be embarrassed by his behaviour tonight!

Played against plenty of teams like Catalan in my time. When they’re in front they’re over celebrating, in your face, rubbing it in. When they’re losing they’re grubby, dirty and petulant. Absolutely nothing to like about that team, their coach or their owner.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Disgraceful performance from Catalans, as bad as you'll see, never wanted to play rugby and I'm glad to see the back of them.

They used to be everyone's second favourite team, but McNamara has left their Culture and their reputation in the gutter. Big fine coming there way, disgraceful that the touch judge has to come on to the pitch because of all the stuff getting chucked at him. Child was similarly pelted on the way off the pitch.

Leeds played them like a fiddle tonight - look very banged up, no Gannon next week and Oledski looks unlikely to play next week

McClorum blatant attempted trip on Sutcliffe right at the end of the 1st. Half. Sutcliffe then made the break and received it back to score near to the posts

Agree! It was brilliant to watch as well, behaving like 3 year old kids!

The whole match was an embarrassment. It will be interesting to see how consistent the RFL are with their handing out of bans because there will be a few Leeds players nervous this week. I have a feeling that because of the criticism they have received from Martin's ban, they'll be more lenient. Which will also annoy the fans. They've created a rod off their own back.

Another thing, whoever was controlling the cameras for the video ref I'm sure it was their first time using the controls and wasn't 100% what the rules were. Whatever Thaler asked to look at the person controlling the cameras couldn't do it. It just doesn't look professional at all and was one of the reasons the game took so long.

The video ref was a disgrace. 2 tries that Thaler basically had to guess at because he wasn’t given the angle that he repeatedly asked for. No idea what was going on , but it just highlights what an amateurish operation the RFL are running.

The game finished at around 10.10pm yesterday. It was such a stop start game. Very niggly, lots of indiscipline and not a great deal of skill. Leeds played the better rugby and deserved to win. Catalans were a disgrace at times. Leeds really got under their skin, especially Bentley, and Catalans just self imploded.

Not a good start to the play offs as it wasn't a good standard game. Hopefully today's game will be alot better.

It's OK Gausch wasn't gonna allow his team to play in an English final with an English ref again remember...his side have done him favour

What a Horror show . I was really expecting Cats to turn up , they were a disgrace .

Leeds at home would be lovely after seeing that . However I can see Salford turning Hudds over .

Agree Belgian quite a few ball carrying arm on floor given as tries. Wells mentioned it needs to be clarified on when a tackle is complete.

It seems to be when played in Catalan if the decision may be against them, the controller "Match Director" acts the maggot.

On the game itself Leeds were deserved winners but some very dodgy decisions went against Catalans all through the game.
I think Seguier may have been secret texting Child`s partner, two blatant bad decisions against him.

I quite enjoyed that match. Rugby league is far better with niggle and edge between the teams. But that’s my opinion.

Not great quality from either team but at least there weren’t 50 errors like Leeds v cas last week.

I think saints or Wigan put Leeds to bed comfortably next week.

An embarrassing spectacle with hardly any rugby of note.

Catalans play on the edge and the ref allowed the game to spiral completely out of control before attempting damage limitation for the last 20 minutes. Leeds are coached well if lacking ability and played the Dragons and the ref like a fiddle.

A damning indictment on the standard of SL if that is the bet we can expect from an elimination playoff.

This has happened 3 or 4 times this season, didn’t we get it with Kendall guessing on the Batchelor disallowed try and the camera angle was missing. We are getting to the point where televised and non televised matches are becoming a different game.

Scrap the referee's call and go back to benefit of the doubt to the attacking team
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." Danny Blanchflower.
Might have been written by a footballer about football - but never a truer word............
