My word, we're blaming Welsby for Graces injury now? Madness.
He passed because the ball was in play, it doesn't matter of this 6 seconds left or 6 minutes.
Are you actually being serious? Do you think Welsby knew it was the last play? Do you think he consciously thought "I will pass this because I don't want to risk getting injured?" Or did he carry out his normal actions as a full back because that's what he is trained to do and that's what he would do at any other time in the game too?
Had he not passed it and got injured himself you'd probably say "why didn't he pass it, he wouldn't have got hurt then." Get a grip mate.
Had the accident not happened then you wouldn't be questioning his decision to pass would you? Criticising it with the benefit of hindsight is ridiculous. You need to give your head a serious wobble.
NEVER WRITE OFF THE SAINTS
It's just an unfortunate injury, a freak accident. There's nothing Grace or anybody else could've done to prevent it. We've been very unlucky to have two players suffer the same injury in the same season.

It's such a shame, he really wanted to help us get the 4peat. I wish him all the luck. He will be looked after until he transfers, that's the Saints way.
Sad news and wish him the best of recoveries.
I thought the same Greg, will Racing want him there immediately to assess and oversee his recovery, will they want him there at all.
One year deal and he will be most of that year recovering with no preseason to bed in so it is hardly a good starting point. As a few have noted barely a missed game since that sparkling debut on Good Friday six seasons ago and like buses three come at once.
Good luck whatever the future holds for you Regan, a pleasure to watch and that hat trick against Leeds the best seen in SL.
Thats an interesting point Racing Club 92 start their season around mid September until mid May, based on the Dodd time out the Grace could miss the first 20 rounds of the 26 games. That won't be enough (6 games) to adjust to the Union Code again and get noticed for consideration to be a welsh international.
The ironic twist is that Grace has only gone for 12 month contracts in league and union and its left him up in the air with uncertainity, could but unlikely Grace and Racing Club agree to cancel the contract and he does another season in Superleague.
