Hurrell: Fantastic. Exciting and a joy to watch.
Walmsley at his best last night.
Lomax: the team revolves around him in attack. His partnership with Welsby is constantly improving and, hopefully, will continue to do so.

Excellent performances throughout the team with Bennison being a standout

Special mention to Sironen, played all the 80mins and was a real handful all game, looks as though he is coming into some great form at last.

Walmsley Hurrel and Lomaxwith them three being pushed by 14 others. Bennison made a couple of errors but deserves a mention for the things he did right and the way he injected himself into the game. A good showing considering his lack of experience.

Hurrell was on great form. Gutted he wasnt able to bag a hat trick.

Bennison really grasped his opportunity and played a very good game. Again gutted he was able to get on the score board after coming close a few times.

Lomax playing with one arm is still by far an away the best half in the game.

    1. Lomax who helps make everything tick.
    2. Hurrell who has been a revelation this season.
    3. Walmsley who was more like his normal self last night.

Really though it was a team effort.

Thought all of the forwards as a collective are worthy of it. Walmsley had his best game for a few weeks, Lees offered a lot with the ball as much as without it, Paasi offered his usual from the bench, Norman had a good game, Knowles put in a normal Knowles performance, Sironen was everywhere, Wingfield was a pest and Batchelor was very good, too

Roby must have thought he was on holiday with all his forwards putting in an excellent shift last night.

Sirinon for me. Best game yet in a saints shirt. Also great to see Walmsley back in form.
Special mention for Knowles last night , when Roby does retire we have a natural leader in Knowles who will be the backbone for us for the next decade, just as Roby has been for the last decade. Its said by many that Roby has a 9/10 game every week, Knowles is fitting into that category aswell for me and will only get better with more responsibility once Roby steps down.

Same. I was hoping he’d get over the line. I think we all want the youngsters to do well and he did well.

That offload from Knowles to Walmsley was superb. This is where it gets difficult. So many good players and excellent contributions.

He’s got good footwork that lad. He won’t be short of tries once he becomes a regular first teamer.

Roby, just a 9/10 tonight, when is he going to step up his game. Could be man of the match virtually every game, but no-one sees it because they just expect it.

I wonder what the RFL will find to ban him for?

Lomax was the best player on the pitch. I'm so relieved to see him having such an influence, hopefully he continues to improve as he hopefully get a little more mobility in his arm.

We DESPERATELY need him fit and in form come the play-offs.
