    Default james Bell banned

Can we get through a game these days without loosing a player ? James Bell banned for 1 match for a late challenge on the kicker in the 64th minute. Why do we persist in this tactic when we know it nearly always ends in a ban, challenge the kicker by all means, get in is way make it difficult but stop the tackling. 2 second rowers out now for the next game ,we are not have making life difficult for ourselves. Thought Sironen and Matautia would have received bans for yesterday.
Seriously why does Leuluai get away with his late hit. Even Kendall said to him no need for it. It was later than Matautia so called late hit at Toulouse.
Saints should be looking at this.

At some point we just need to accept that our players need to be smarter with late shots rather than succumbing to a bout of whataboutery.

These bans will cost us come the big games and we need to sort it out.

Morgan Knowles was also charged as well but it was a 0 match ban, when Morgan does that high impact body check with his arms pushing outwards I thought eventually that type of technique will be outlawed shortly.

We are top of the Superleague Stats fot yellow cards now. Won't be long now before Welsby starts to get banned for other contrary behaviour.

Sorry to say but our discipline is appalling, we just never learn. To hell with conspiracy theories, we need to sort our own house out. Welsby is just childish and is now on referees radars, hes turning into our version of Jake Connor and someone needs to be having a word sharpish. I say things as I see them and yesterday our discipline was a joke and has been for a while.

I agree - things are hard enough with players missing , we simply can’t afford this

Did my eyes deceive me or wasn't JL taken out after one of his kicks. I also dont understand why a late tackle on the passer warrants a charge due to flexion of the neck, but a direct hit to the head in the tackle, which incidentally was penalised so was seen, isn't even looked at by the disciplinary.

I was annoyed with Welsby because it was unnecessary. I don’t think the lad is anywhere near approaching the Jake Connor petulance stakes though. Connor keeps me amused when I watch him but that’s because he doesn’t play for us and also because (even though he’s a wind up specialist) he also seems to get wound up when he plays us.

To be truthful, I didn’t notice the Bell incident. I must watch the game on Saints TV because I didn’t understand some of the referee’s decisions. Somebody in the row In front was keeping notes and had the penalty count at 7:2 against us at half time. That seems somewhat unbalanced.

    This.

I couldn’t care less if Wigan players are banned or not, I don’t support Wigan. I’d rather we engaged a bit of brain towards how the game is played as we’re harming our own chances of success.

I can never understand why people expect a penalty count to be balanced. Our game is based on a fast line speed so we're always likely to get pinged for offside more often as it's harder to get right. When you then get Bell, Knowles and Matautita throwing big shots in late without wrapping their arms no matter how many times the rules and current interpretation have been explained then we've got nobody to blame but ourselves.

    Needs sorting.

We are far tougher in defence and the RL don’t like it and have introduced a handicap as per golf. Saints have 9 yellow cards whilst Wigan have just 1 yellow this season.

I was too far from some of the action to say the ref was wrong and that’s why I want to watch again. I know the argument about fast line speed but they were also drifting offside at the PTB without being penalised.

Oh I don't know about that, there's folk wandering about with Bill Gates' 5G microchips in them according to some people.

The way some of our fanbase are, it could be believable that some think that way.

Couldn't Hanley or Wane name him in either of their teams for Saturday, therefore negating the ban when it comes to Saints, after all if others can do it?
