    Default Family Stand

Hopefully going to be taking my 6yo to his first game against HKR. Not really had much of a chance to see many games at the new stadium, so wondered what the Family Stand is like? Know the prices are slightly cheaper.

I always sit in the family stand . I have a 12 and 7 ye old and sat on there since it opened . Never had any issues and a good view . Sit higher up and you have plenty of space .take your own treats for the kids as the cue inside for sweets and drinks are bad and expensive

Cheers. Seats are available in A or A1 and K or K1. Any idea which are the further back?

A is the South East corner so you would be next to the away fans in the East.

K is the South West corner so you would be next to our fans in the West.

I know which one I would choose. (the same choice I made over ten years ago)

Cheers. I think we went with K in the end thankfully.

Next question - best place to park? Think last time I was there the old multi-story on Chalon Way was still open. Any decent on-road spots nearby?

Back of the shops at Fingerpost is a short walk away.

Or if that's full. Just across the dual carriageway is Jackson St. Park as near as you can to Manor St. Cross over the unused railway line via Manor St Bridge and your on the doorstep. Can't really get any nearer than that.

Is there much in way of parking there? We are picking up tickets from box office and want to take him to the store so aiming to get there a bit earlier.

The only problem with parking there is the iron bridge over the railway. Not for anyone unsteady on their feet

I’d have never thought of that but it’s actually nearer than Birchall Street car park where I tend to go. I imagine walking through town is a bit more pleasant than all the traffic on Smithy Brew (Parr Street).
