They tried hard, but they were pretty hopeless for three quarters of the game. The vast majority of teams would have beaten them today. We were terrible but still won.

    You're right DD.

Duckie did say it would be a close one & he was right.

I did enjoy the way Wire played though at times. Was helter-skelter but it was fast & we struggled to deal with it

Strong rumour Warrington are bringing in a new prop effective immediately- Thomas Mikaele from Wests. Released from his contract to come to SL-

Warrington do have quite a few quota spaces to play with.

The only way they can do this is if Wests are paying his wages. No way they have that much spare on the cap.

Give over, you must have realised by now the Salary Cap does NOT apply to next years Super League Champions.

Warrington played spiritedly but lets have it right. The Saints form of pre Easter would have put 40 points on them.

They have a salary marque for all their world beating marque players. This is Warrington's decade

They've definitely resolved their biggest issues for next season. They will win Super League eventually and with us losing Woolf and Roby and Wigan being bang average and broke, next year is as good as any.

Not really? They're spending more than anyone on players, eventually they will get that right. I'm not suggesting they definitely will, but they will certainly be massively improved on this season with those signings. Losing Robes is a massive thing for us. We've been protected over the last 20 years by having either Cunningham or Roby and there will be an almighty unsettling affect around that and a new coach, especially if we replace him with throwaway trash like Dwyer.

Kasiano - unfit & knackered after a 10 minute stint
    Dudson - bang average
Mikaele - no nothing about him

I'd rather we just didn't sign him, he's not good enough.

So accepting a) Roby isnt going around again, b) we dont have a non fed to spare and c) were not hit and hoping with Pemberton, who do you sign, given the current Out of Contract lists circulating?
