Id be very surprised if go anywhere near Charnley. He'll want good money with it likely being his last big contract.

If Grace doesn't decide to stay on - and then if there isn't a good value wing replacement (solid-allrounder) on the market - we could be as well promoting from within - Sambou maybe or some other academy prospect? Also, if we do keep hold of Hurrell for another year or more - he can play wing too - and is proving a great addition to our squad this season and making some good performances at centre. Taking a punt on a 'project' / unproven winger from the lower leagues, on not a huge salary, might be worth a try too.
Never spend big money on wingers. There are other positions that are far more important
I find it mad Warrington are playing as bad as they are currently.
They've still got 8 of the 17 from the 2019 cup final and alongside that they've signed Widdop, Williams, Holmes and Matatuia who most would say are decent to good SL players or certainly when they bought them. Must be a serious culture issue as their team shouldn't be getting whacked for 40 by Wigan.
Steve Price appears to be a much better coach than I ever thought.
8-8 on 55 last week then just fell to bits.
I don't think we've got the attack to score 30+ at the minute and I'm sure they'll show some fight for a large part like last week.
I'd go 22-10, something like that I think but they're only just over 2/1 with the Bookies. So they must think it'll be fairly close.
Agreed - similar to the job Watson took on at Hudds although I must say, I could see where Watson was going with it pretty early doors watching them play and listening to him.
I can’t say that I see as much to give me confidence in the process with Powell/Wire.

Releasing Charnley will also be a good saving on a salary that they can invest elsewhere.
I seem to remember from that photo that he definitely never had a whopper.
I don’t know enough about rugby union to go blaming them be he certainly hasn’t been the same since that stint at Sale. It must be a good few years since he scored a try from more than ten yards out. To be fair he was a bloody good finisher between 2010-2014. He reminds me of Zak Hardaker. Stealing a living off reputation.
