    Default Semi Final travel

Just thought it might be worth a mention. I’ve just been on the Great British Rail Sale site and booked two return tickets from Manchester to Leeds for the semi for a grand total of £6 (that’s total not each!). The only drawback is we have to get specific trains, but at that price I’ll live with it.

Has anything been said about travel from Leeds city centre to Elland road ?
Will they put buses on or is it down to taxis ?

Just ordered semi tickets. What block is everyone sitting in and where is everyone going before? Taking 2 non saints and casual tv RL viewers with me to hopefully get them hooked! I live in Leeds so if you need any info on where to go before let me know

Where’s best to park near the ground? Is there any street parking for free? What’s the cheapest?

    Cheers!

They’ve not mentioned it. My mates are Leeds season ticket holders and haven’t heard anything. Would be ideal because the walk from city centre isn’t great. Probably best to drink in centre before then taxi as close to ground as possible. Loads of taxis at the rank near train station. Apparently the park and ride is good to use. You can park at the ground normally but not sure what it will be like semi final day. Can’t imagine it will be full capacity.

    I’m block FA2

From my days at Asda House, go out of the station and down the steps, Scarborough Taps (aka Scabby Taps) straight in front of you.

O’Neils straight outside the station on the right (depending which way you leave the station) is a decent sports bar!
