    A great, hard-fought win.
This team must be close to being the most dominant of any team in any sport in the country. It's incredible what they've achieved in the last couple of years.
I hope they get the credit and spotlight they deserve.

What’s remarkable is that this season they have become ambassadors for the ladies game, they have promoted the game post match in certain areas to get ladies to take up the sport.

They really are a credit to our club and everyone has taken the hard work on board to make it a far reaching success. It’s also good to hear that our star player Faye Gaskin has recovered from that horrendous injury and will soon make our ladies squad so much stronger.

Another brilliant performance from the ladies. It shows how the club is leading the sport in all areas, despite the minor hiccup in losing to Wigan in the semi final.

The Womens Grand Final has been announced as being at the Totally Wicked. We really need to get behind that and get as many there as possible. The weekends crowd of around 5,000 has been announced as a record for the womens game and I can't see any reason why we can't demolish that if we all get behind it. It'd be a boost for the club, for the sport and a reward for the ladies themselves for the outstanding work they've done over the last few years. They aren't highly paid, if at all, but the community work they do is outstanding and reflects so well on the club.

I see Saints v Leeds on 23rd June at TWS is going to be a double header with the womens game followed by the mens. Both games to be broadcast on Sky as well.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

We could have done with a couple of the ladies playing against Wigan on Saturday. ()
    Well done ladies.

Shock loss yesterday for the women, going down to York 13-6. I know York are one of the better teams, but to be kept to one score and struggle is a huge upset.

First [on-pitch] loss in any format since 2019. And amazing run comes to an end.

Hopefully just a blip that serves as a kick up the arse.

York deserved the win, their players are massive and took the saints down the middle, they must have noticed the easy metres Leeds made in the cup final. Was expecting the saints ladies to up the game in the last quarter but they looked knackered against a very strong York defence and kept the likes of Cunningham, Hardcastle and Jones quiet.

Picked up a couple of injuries through the game too which didn't help. Some brutal defence from York at times although the hair pulling from them in the second half was a bit small time. Poor last tackle options from Saints when they had chances towards the end.

They'll learn more from that than steamrolling someone again though.

I think we also had a poor game by our standards, there were too many errors, our last tackle was very poor and we just didn't take the right optiosn when we had opportunities to attack on the edge. Plenty of line breaks, no push and not clinical off the back of it. York were good value for their win regardless of missing players.
