Anybody else found some?

Booked for March game via London Gatwick.(EasyJet) direct. Some airports nearer go via Paris. We picked London as had a voucher for parking and hotel in London held over from cancelled Catalans trip when Covid hit.
Humans are more concerned with having than being.
Think Stansted/Gatwick is the only direct..
Air Brussels goes via Brussels with a couple of hours transfer at the airport, for about £170 (June)
Carcassonne is not too far away, Bordeaux a couple of hours on a train, but flights generally on a Sunday are limited
Either way you'll be travelling over here, or over in France
Ironically we flew to Toulouse for Catalans a few years ago - that was Flybe who are no longer with us
There’s always Eurostar and TGV on to Toulouse.
KLM have a good choice of 1 stop options.
I've just booked a Friday evening out and Sunday lunchtime return for £158
Both fights go via Amsterdam and take about four and a half hours.
There is a great tram service from Toulouse airport to the city centre
So no need to book an airport hotel
This will be my last post on here following the "slow and painful death" comment a moth or so ago, so I'll make it a helpful one.
For the Wigan game we have booked Manchester to Carcassonne and then it's between 45 and 60 mins train to Toulouse. Loads of Hotels close to the station in Toulouse.
Flight is 12 noon from Manchester on Friday with an afternoon flight from Carcassonne on the Monday.
Adios.
I did something similar with Ryanair, but that was from Stansted. It was a late flight so I stayed in a budget hotel near the airport, then a train over to Perpigan the next day.
Easy access from the airport into town as some have already said.
A few have already mentioned trains. They're fairly cheap compared to our intercity services, and typically, the price doesn't change too much if you just turn up on the day.
Carcassonne is a good shout from RG. You can do Perpignan from there too, changing at Narbonne.
I'm guessing that our first fixture v Toulouse will be during 'off peak' season, so not so much choice of flights.
For the March game we’re going on the early flight on the Friday morning via Brussels and returning on the same route on the Sunday evening. Bit of a pain that there are no direct flights but at least you can get off the plane at Brussels before getting the connecting flight. Hotel prices really reasonable as well.
Should have added - our flight is from Manchester and our hotel is in the city centre. It cost £250 for flight and hotel (2 nights).
Just like to say that I for one will be a bit disappointed if you feel the need to abandon us entirely. Obviously your (natural) 'Wigan-centricity' didn't do you any favours on here, but I never bought the 'trolling' theory and I often found you comments on more general topics informed and useful. I would be sorry to lose them, but if you do decided to disappear for good, thanks for those contributions, and all the best.
Agreed. Rogues occasionally takes the p**s, but he’s a Wigan fan - of course he does. I know a lot of people will say that if he’s a Wigan fan, what’s he doing on a Saints forum, but isn’t one of the things we all love about RL that fans can mix and get on, even (perhaps especially) when they’re having a good natured laugh at each other’s expense?
I agree with what DewiSant said Rogues , all the best .
We have manged to book with easyjet from Bristol to Toulouse in March only £60 each return including seats. Ok flight times too.
Go on Thursday arrive back Sunday.
1hrs drive closer too compared to London Airports.
If anyone is looking for the cheapest way to do it...
We're staying at Holiday inn express Crawley Friday night March 18th.
Saturday flight around 9am.
Staying at the ibis budget at the airport as it's not far from the centre.
Sunday flight back 9am.
All that only came to £84pp.
Flights £41pp
Holiday inn £24pp
Ibis Budget £19pp
Lot of travelling in a short space but you get a full day there Saturday from 11.30.
Ideal if people can't afford to take any or much time off.
I've got to work Friday & Monday so it's my only option but at that price I cant complain.
