Just shows how highly rated Welsby is, by both staff and players.
Wonder if he'd win a fans' vote.

I presume the members award was voted for by members/season ticket holders and Walmsley won that.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Hasn’t the fans’ vote gone to Walmsley? I’m assuming that the Members are accepted as being representative of the fans. Both Welsby and Walmsley deserve the accolades but I like the way the team operates as a unit and how they work for each other.

PS Sorry Wee Waa Womble, you hadn’t posted when I signed in.

It's good to see Lewis Baxter getting some recongition for the 19's. Good young prop with bags of potential, great footwork for a big lad and decent hands too. We may see him start to get a game or two in the rotation fixtures next year.

It all gets confusing as to who is the "real" Player of the Year with three different awards. However, I think Alex Walmsley looked inhibited by fitness issues in the first half of the season and am not sure he was really our Player of the Year. For me, it was Jack Welsby by a good distance.

I've always seen the order as Coaches, Players, Members. But you could easily argue Coaches and players changing.

Whilst he missed a chunk of the season, I'd have gone Knowles myself. The difference in us on both sides of the ball with and without him in the 17 is scary

Agreed, but there should be some sort of award for Dodd, picking Fat Ollie's pocket on his own try line!
