I think Woolf should go knocking on McBanana's front door and tell him the Coach of the Year Award belongs to the Woolf.

Against almost any other team, I want a Catalans win (despite their cock of a coach, the Tomkins tw*ts, and the grubby tactics) and when they showed their fans at the end (who've moved heaven and earth to get here and put up with so much), my heart went out.

But during the game I'm as partisan, as blinkered, as desperate for us to win as anyone.

    Yeeeeeeaaaaas GET IN

in that second half i was thinking this is not our night.
Catalan for me looked a bit more threatening when they did attack.
This is one special team, and im glad people can see just how good Woolfe is now.

Kevin was outstanding. Right from the beginning i literally said to my dad. He is gonna win this for us. You could tell he was just in the mood to play.

    Batchelor was brilliant

Paasi ran the ball in great all night and did matautia

    Wow. What an achievement

As for the game, we did that tough. Catalans threw everything at that, their grubby tactics were allowed to continue almost all game, they played the officials so well, we never were able to get going.

So happy for Naiqama and Coote, two amazing guys and players able to leave on a high.

It's obviously a really close-knit bunch of great people.

Again, I doff my cap to a superb Saints team, and a fantastic club. For an often-ignored town that's faced way more than its fair share of devastating knocks over the last 40 or so years, our club is rightly a beacon of brilliance.

Enjoyable, apart from Sky chit-chat ruining the celebrations.

I hated every minute of that. It was brilliant.

Catalans couldn’t have played much better than they did. I can only remember them making one error. Massive kudos to this team’s resilience and Woolf’s coaching. We just seem to find a way to go one step better when it really matters. Awesome.

We did fantastic on our right edge, what did Woolf see from Catalans pre match that decided that they would attack more on that side, Lomax and Coote worked overtime on that side.

Naiqama’s Harry Sunderland trophy was richly deserved. He’s taken some stick for his defensive decision making but he was absolutely epic in defence tonight. Throw in two GF tries and Bob’s your uncle.

Spot on. Haven’t always been his biggest fan but he’s proved me wrong for most of this season and was tremendous tonight with and without the ball.

Can’t wait to watch the video as he looked very emotional at the whistle.

Elephant in the room…. 45,000 people at the game.

All these k n o b s who want to support Cats on Facebook, Twitter etc, why not show support at a 40% empty old Trafford
Can't stop the spirits when they need you.

Honestly I don’t think 45k is so bad under the circumstances. RL is just not a big enough sport to fill a big stadium with only one domestic team playing.

Why would they potentially spend hundreds of pounds to do that ? Would it be any different to us supporting Cats if they were in a final v Wigan ?

Don't know where they got 45000 from . The ground holds 78k and no way was it over half full . The game however was worthy of a full house

Was sat at the Catalan end . A few Leeds fans really desperately wanting us to fail
At 3 In A row . Wigan fans well they just looked desperate and no sight or sound of any Wire fans ? It was bliss watching them all crawl off .

Superb game . I thought our game management , patience and effort was simply outstanding . Plan A was all it needed . Who can stop us making it 4?

Catalan wanted a stop start game and milked every stoppage. It was pathetic how it was allowed to go on. Someone mentioned 'how did we win that' I agree because we had no field position for 75% of the time. Partly through indiscipline, partly through the ref not applying the rules to both sides. Malone did a Sinfield and had a cracking kicking game. Thanks Kevin for pulling us out of the crap. both defensively and attacking wise. what a way to bow out.

They had studied the Hull KR. Game that's how they took them on.

That was a very hard game to watch on tv. Absolutely brilliantly defensive performances from all of the team, stand outs Welsby’s interception, Makinsons tackles and Morgan’s tackle on the winger, not pretty but very high intensity. Best 2nd row in the league by far on that performance. Sione taking on Maloney epic, Paasi finally delivered. The great thing is we have the core again next year.
