We look like a bit of a frustrated team.

Well deserved. Could have been 50+. Roll on next week!

He’s been good for us over the last 3 years, Coote. He’s taken a few heavy tackles and high shots this year.

So that's Matautia & Knowles missing for next week with bans.

Really strong performance and everyone played their part out there tonight.

Still not a fan of kicking penalties when we have the opportunity under lots of pressure but I don't suppose it matters in the end

Surely not. If that happens there can be no doubt that we are unfairly dealt with.

They'd probably ban the Leeds duo, too, just to claim consistency.

But I really don't think either will get bans

There’s really not a mad anti-Saints conspiracy. We’re in our third straight Grand Final and the Cup holders. Looking at the way the game is clamping down on contact with the head, we’ll be incredibly to get both available for next week.

I'm sorry, but there was nothing in that Mata'utia tackle at all. The game is going soft. Sometimes you cannot avoid head contact. The player was going down, what is Mata'utia supposed to do? Not tackle him? Ridiculous.

As for Knowles tackle, slightly late but not alot in it. It wasn't high, penalty at most. It'll be a joke if he's banned.

They ignore players going down, it’s irrelevant.

Points on the board in knockout matches is better than no points

It shouldn't be irrelevant though because it's sometimes unavoidable. You're taught tackle in a certain way. If a player falls and is low when you make contact, there is a good chance you will hit them in the head but thay shouldn't be classed as foul play. What should Mata'utia do? Move out of the way and let him go through because his head is low? It's ridiculous.

For me the yellow cards were sufficient and shouldn't go any further than that. it was harsh on Matautia as the Leeds player was falling and their wasn't any time and space for Matautia to adjust his tackle. I didn't really see the Knowles one, as long as it wasn't a tackle to the head then very well could be a warning.

The amount of lying on and interference when we play the ball by Leeds was atrocious, we were nowhere near as bad but got absoultely hammered for restarts, that in itself keeps the conspiracy alive and well.

For a penalty or a yellow card, but is it the same for a potential ban?

I don’t disagree. I’m just saying, based on what players have been banned for this year, I think he probably will get a game for it. We also saw Matautia banned for a relatively similar tackle to Knowles’ so, again, on past experiences this year, I’m not particularly confident we will see either playing next week.

It depends on the situation, we were dominating and gave them a rest.

I thought the 8 flattered Leeds massively, it was nice of Chris Kendall to manage their pain somewhat and give them their points

How they can be playing for a place in a Grand Final is beyond me. They were so bad I thought I was watching Cunningham Saints at times

    Woeful

There was nothing in the Knowles one. Unfortunately despite being accidental, can see Matautia getting a game
