thought Dodd, particularly his kicking , was awful tonight. Needs to improve on that display in the next game( if he is selected)

Have to say really proud of the young lads.
3 huge huge incorrect calls from the ref which resulted in salford scoring so feel the lads can feel a little aggreived.
Sam royle looked real good as did the young full back. Not 1 player had a bad game. Can all be proud of tonight
Thought the pitch invasion at the end was a discrace. Adults lifting kids over onto the pitch was just wrong. Dont clubs get fined for pitch invasions?
What was Saints team . No prob finally found it on BBC sport
Clueless commentator. Doesn’t come across as if he cares about the game, seems to have no knowledge.
Say what you want about Eddie, Stevo, Carney, Baz, Tez and Phil Clarke’s opinions and styles but there is no doubt that these guys adore the game and are still deeply entrenched within the game and the teams (amateur and professional)
Jon Wells is a nob though :-)
Can't stop the spirits when they need you.
This life is more than just a read through.
Not one but 2 pitch invasions ! Must be a fine incoming for that surely. Saints team taken straight off the field at the end. Quite ridiculous by Salford
Thought our lads did well, once Salford started offloading in the 2nd half we couldn't cope, I thought it was very poor by Woolf that we had the fullback Bettinson (sp) kicking off who couldn't get the ball further than their 30. They were in our half on tackle 2 or 3 every set. Dodd should have been kicking off.
Grace worked his socks off trying to cover for a very narrow defence by us, they had loads of room on the wings which they used well 2nd half. Don't recall Amor coming back on, didn't see him get injured though. His thigh was heavily strapped after his dead leg against Leeds was It?
Just watching the highlights from last night - some great kicking from the youngster Martyn.
Embarrassing for Salford - celebrating like they had won the Grand Final - rather than narrowly avoiding the wooden spoon.
We’ll done Saints kids - our future looks good.
“With great power comes great responsibility”
What did we make of Norman on Friday ?
I thought he carried the ball strongly & made good yards. Couldn't manage to keep an eye on him in defence unfortunately.
Have to say I was disappointed with Wingfield.
Drops the ball coming off our line with 1 minute left of the first half which leads to 14-10 rather than 14-4 at the break and then second half another similar error led to a try. Think he made 3 in total.
Stats suggest he carried it well though, 12 carries for 79 metres. so 7 a carry.
Still very much Work in Progress the main positive he gets involved and does a lot of work, the drop passes and missed tackles will gradually be less with experience. Seems to be somewhere in between a Matty Lees and a Morgan Knowles, Woolf rates him for his ball handling skills but it wasn't a game to show those attributes. We probably need to show a bit of patience and let him grow into the team structure.

12 months isn't a long time for a head coach of a club that has been losing their best players for a couple of years, seems a bit harsh.
