We possibly need to blame Passi for that one.

Great to see some young players getting blooded and a chance for them to shine. What a fab in-depth squad we now have! Future selection headaches is what every coach dreams of.

Those couple of areas are called 'knees'

I'm really looking forward to this game could be quite exciting. I will be more looking at the performance from the back ups, rather than the result. Just hoping we don't suffer any injuries

Or the more likely, get a couple of players banned for inoculous challenges.

    5. Regan Grace,
    6. Jonny Lomax,
    21. Lewis Dodd,

    8. Alex Walmsley,

    10. Matty Lees,

    32. Shay Martyn,

However given the players left. Martyn for either Grace or Welsby is a clear swap. Also naming 5 props is a give away Walmsley will be rested.

    A more likely team is...

    18. Jack Welsby,

    31. Jonathan Bennison,

    33. Taylor Pemberton

    34. Reece Sumner.
    5. Regan Grace,
    8. Walmsley
I think you are under-estimating Salford mate . I surmise it will not matter if we lose
Silly me I thought it was the play-offs

We shouldn't tempt fate, nor the disciplinary.

Good to see they saw sense and no Walmsley in the squad.

Having Welsby on the bench and not starting tells me one thing. Preparation for a similar tactic in 2 weeks. Lomax Dodd at 6 & 7 with Welsby coming on from the bench. Barring any comeback mishaps from Jonny Lomax.

Good start by our lads, hopefully they can keep it up. Rat boy has gone off with a knee injury early on against Wigan as well.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Jonny had a try disallowed - harsh call and no VR to check. Costello seemed to be held up but try given!
Ref is Marcus Griffiths. I’ve seen him ref games not involving Saints as well as Saints matches and my opinion of him is that he's clueless!

Does Bill Arthur keep up with any team news in other games? He’s banging on about a Salford win being a turn up for the book! Egit!

I’m listening on t’internet Radio Merseyside and boy does Phil Kinsela hate Saints not a peep out of him in the first half but now you can’t shut him up

Oh and can you get a more Sint’ellens accent as the other guy. I bet he has a mekul kekul to boil his water.

He might look a bit dishevelled, but he does make space and time for the people around him. Makes defenders panic.
