Cayless and Fairleigh were both top top class but in terms of best ever in SL then my top 5 would be (in no particular order)

    Morley
    Peacock
    Graham
    Fielden
    Walmsley

Burgess worth a mention but wasn't here for long if I remember rightly. Luke Thompson could squeeze into that group depending if and when he comes back.

As you’ve suggested Thompson and Burgess can’t be considered as they haven’t/didn’t play for long enough in the UK, I’d also question Morley as a top Super League prop given that before he moved to the NRL he was predominantly a second row. On his return, I think his best years had gone and he was on the decline as a prop. Using your criteria, however, many overseas players, such as Fairleigh, Britt and Cayless should also not be considered.

Morley played pretty much all at 2nd row before he went to the NRL. To judge him at prop you need to only take his time at Warrington and Salford, still might make the top 10 but certainly not the top 5.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.
