I hope he does, don't want to give the noisy neighbours any excuse when we beat them. Although if Tommy got 2 for his innocuous tackle then you never know.

A bit of a disjointed read in this from Fox sports but for those interested worth battling through- down here there has been debate around Roosters dummy coping a ban for a tackle - this article gives the NRL's version which goes into some detail on their justifications for a ban as opposed to a similar tackle that didnt receive a ban. Does Superleague committee give as transparency into decision making ?

It’s a 2 match ban for Cooper based on what we’ve been seeing dished out elsewhere but could see it being reduced to 1 match if he has a good disciplinary record.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.
Cullen what can you say about such a scummy player.. how he’s on the panel I will never know.. it’s going to bee very interesting what they will give him.. !!!!!
If a magistrate in a court of law knows an offender, they have to 'sit back' and not take part in the proceedings. Same should happen in RFL Disciplinary if a member is similarly disposed.
There was no video evidence at all that Paasi hit his head, 2 game ban, on suspicion. There is clear video showing direct shoulder to head so he should get at least 2 games.
He will get sending off sufficient or at the very worst 1 game.
To be honest, after Cooper getting the card I don't know how Watts got away with his later in the game, surely it was also reckless contact with the head.

Amazing, 11pm on the plane, no concussion as I doubt he would be able to fly so soon after release from hospital, no neck brace so no whiplash. However, a soft cast on the arm/wrist and a bandaged thumb. Was obviously a terrible head hit to cause all that damage to his arm and warrant the stretchers that came flying on.

With Cooper, we in pnb land see it as the head goes down an hits Cooper between pectoral and shoulder.
He does lead with the shoulder with a loose arm, that makes the tackle illegal.
The fine line is that if Cooper had only lifted his arm to make a motion to tackle, it becomes legal and yet the head to shoulder contact and Coopers aggression into the tackle is exactly the same but we wouldn’t be debating it.
On that, I see him getting a game for it being an illegal technique. The contact is circumstantial.
