Leigh are relegated as a result, then. They’ve fulfilled their end of the bargain, best of luck to them in the Championship.

Daft question. If we are willing to squeeze in extra games in order to play the same amount as Catalans would the league allow it?

Edit: or will we have played the same as them after the Leeds and Salford games?

I don’t think its worth squeezing in extra games to equal and in the hope we take the LLS fron Catalan.
The big prize is the GF we need to be fresh for that.

Yes, we are allowed to try and rearrange games for the postponements between the MW and the Salford game. However, they need to be played in the order in which they were cancelled (as Hull KR wanted to arrange playing the Hull derby they missed earlier in the season, but our game with them needed to be played first) and there is a minimum requirement of at least 3 days between games for player welfare. When I went and looked at how any additional fixtures could line up, it took moving games which would require multiple teams to approve and it seemed very unlikely to be possible. There are also very few teams who have much to gain by playing us, as it only risks to harm their %. Then when you consider we would have to add an additional two games in to make it worthwhile (as 1 game isnt enough for us to over take them) its not likely to happen.

No we wont be on the same games as Catalans, they will most likely finish on 23 games and us 21. We need them to lose to us in MW AND lose to either Huddersfield (H) or Wigan (A) for us to win the LLS.

Yep that's the basic. We have to win all 3 games and Catalans have to lose 2 out of 3. If Catalans win on Saturday they take the LLS.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Thanks beetle. Yes it did dawn on me that not many teams would be keen on playing us in our current form

Hull look apathetic, sluggish and tired lately. A bit like Brett Hodgsons post match interviews of late.

Bit of a knockonathon in the Hull v Leeds game.

Since when did the video ref start looking at whether a ball went forward or back?

Strongest side to stuff Leeds this week then rest everyone for last game away to Salford.

Is there a risk Salford will even play? They’re done for the year, what’s the point?

Effectively going into the playoffs without a game for three weeks won't be a good move in my book. Full steam ahead against both Leeds & Salford is my guess because with a fit squad going into the playoffs and Woolfe will have some difficult selections to make especially when it comes to bench players.

I agree with this, and given what happened with Catalans we need both games at full strength to get our mindset and game management straight. The added incentive of a playoff and (hopefully) Grand final place will make the players want to complete and prove a point.

    Income from the attendance.
It's been another tough year and I don't think that any team would turn that down at this stage in the season.
