His career will always be remembered for that one moment of madness. Whenever his name is mentioned in years to come it will be defined by that.

Says he hated himself for what he did in the GF; well he wasn't alone there.
I remember Jack Arkwright getting banned Sine die for something far less violent, and i'm not sure but did Robin Whitefield get a lifetime ban for breaking Derek Nooonan's jaw? Flower should never have been allowed to set foot on a pitch after what he did.

I see Wigan have announced the Dream team Peet. O'Loughlin and Briers with Wane looking over their shoulders.
I wouldn't have minded Briers coming to us.

Can you imagine Wane being over the coaching team's shoulders saying.... I want more pashun !
They have gone for the cheap option. Expect more of the same next year from the pies.
They even have Hardaker who openly doesn't want to be there, that can't be good for morale.

Another insider. Don't expect their tactics to change anytime soon.

We’re going for the three-peat this week and they’re announcing Matty Peat and making it look like a line up of SAS:Who Dares Wigan.

So, Wane is England coach & Wigan Head of Thugby. Isn't there a clash of interest there ? Surely as England coach he will have access to privileged information about players fitness etc ? That must give an advantage to the pies so they could target individuals carrying knocks.
    Or, am I paranoid ?
Yes, I'm aware he could tell them anyway.

    Wigan fans in despair.

My favourite line I’ve seen so far is ‘may as well have put crusty the clown in charge out The Simpsons’ hahaha.

Give your head a wobble. We have Wello on the England coaching staff.

Saints fans paranoid about Wigan, the most successful team in the history of Rugby League, Who'd have thought it? Probably the majority of Rugby League fans and certainly every Wigan fan. Long may it continue.

It won't matter because Wigan's playing squad is absolutely bobbins.

Wish I’d seen it. Must be trying to brainwash their fans again.

Have you got a Saints fan paranoia spreadsheet Brian. Most Saints fans are more let’s keep kicking the goon can down the road type, whilst goon fans are submerged in days of future past.

I'd say losing a ground, being tenants in a football stadium and having a stand closed off because of a wedding is some cost for that 'success' but there you go. Some clubs tried to buy success and others looked after their balance sheet a bit more...

BBC calling the O'Loughlin/Briers combo the attacking 'brains trust'

With O'Loughlin, shouldn't that be 'attacking brains' trust?
