    Default Morgan Knowles

Just a mention for Knowles. What a player! He must have been getting bonuses for every hard tackle he put in last night. I lost count!

Best 13 in super league by a country mile. One of our very best players, it could be argued our best.
We need to him to sign a long term contract and if it means making him marquee that’s what we need to do.

An absolute must. The NRL would absolutely love him and he’s going to get plenty of offers. Don’t know what his ambitions are but I could see him getting some hefty offers

Definitely needs to be made a marquee player

Controlled aggression at its best. Beast of a player.

Absolutely fantastic player. Matter of time before NRL clubs are circling. Hopefully we can keep hold of him long term. Next captain?

Controlled aggression is correct. Goes about his game incredibly effectively and I agree with others he should be appointed Captain for next year.

The game against Cas showed what we miss without him. Not just his play, but the effect his play has on the rest of the team.

Spot on. Towering display last night, an unsung hero who is the polar opposite of that thug Isa. Plays the game as it is meant to be, future skipper, no worries.

He’s fast becoming another Roby, in that we are so used to his 9/10 performances, when he’s not there we realise how much he gives us but when he plays, you expect that performance and it’s not a surprise.

And he loves his mum, collects shopping for his neighbours and helps out in the charity shop*

I’d be happy for him to be a marquee player, sing him up Eamon!

*not necessarily the truth but I could imagine it :-)

It's funny, I wouldn't say he is a flashy player but I'd say he is the player in our squad that I love watching the most, maybe because I think we should BRING BACK THE BIFF.

However, I just love the intensity he plays at and it was awesome to see him whack so many of their players last night.

I just don't think we have anyone else who can play the game of a ball playing back rower, unbelievable player

He played brilliantly and is central to the team. Can we keep him?

Morgan Knowles is the epitome of what a rugby player should be. Tough as teak, reads the game intelligently, good hands, professional in his approach, looks after himself and displays controlled aggression! James Bentley should take notice and follow his lead. Love MK - my favourite player and considering that the last player I held in such high esteem was Scully I can’t pay him a better compliment!

I'm sure the club is doing everything they can to tie him down long term but if he wants to go to the NRL it'll be difficult to stop him. He'll be 25 going into next season and 26 going into the 2023 season when his contract is up. If he doesn't go for the 2023 season I don't think he'll ever go. Fingers crossed we can keep him as he's such an important player for us.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

He deserves marquee money and captaincy from 2023.

According to the west tigers fans on Reddit, he’s going there?

    Anyone heard anything?

I think it is an inevitability he is going to the NRL at some point I just hope we see him in the red V for another season or two.

Club has similarly high hopes for Wingfield.

I think Knowles is top-tier good and is an almost impossible act to follow, but if he's going to go to the NRL then having a homegrown replacement with a similar skillset would be hugely satisfying.
