Difficult to predict this one as we don't know if Bentley is ready and there are a few different options at 13 (Welsby, LMS, Matuatia)

I think positions 1-12 pick themselves:

    Coote
    Makinson
    Naiqama
    Percival
    Grace
    Lomax
    Dodd
    Walmsley
    Roby
    Lees
    Batchelor
    Thompson

Then the next 5 come from the following 7 (I have put them in order of how I guess they will line up but could be a number of combinations)

    LMS

    Welsby
    Amor
    Paasi
    Matautia

    Bentley
    Smith

With Simm and Davies almost certainly missing out.

Good to see Bentley back. Don’t think he’ll be involved in the game though after such a spell out.

I’d image Sione will come straight in for Knowles and Lees onto the bench.

Assume you mean Dodd not Fages…
It depends if KW intends to rest the odd player and where Bentley really is ATM.

I don’t expect Bentley to be involved.

Where is the fun in that, tbh as you said most of the team picks itself and Fages was part of that for so long it's an easy mistake to make.

I would say Bentley on the bench and move Mata’utia to the starting line up.

There must be some temptation to rotate the squad a bit but that is hard to predict.
I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong.

I’d go Bentley on the bench too. Covers a fair few positions and rewards Batchelor and Thompson’s form by having them start.

Must say that’s a rapid recovery from Bentley. Thought he’d be out for rest of season.

The initial estimate was 14 weeks which would have been mid August so he’s not too far off schedule.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

If Woolf goes full strength then that’s the 17. He might start Lees over LMS and will he start Welsby at loose forward given he’s played a fair bit there recently?

Free hit for Cas, they haven’t beaten us at home in super league and no-one really expects them to this week. They are capable of beating anyone on their day though so we will have to treat this game with respect. Confidence should be high though and with Knowles and one of LMS/Amor to come back in plus Welsby backing up 1-7 every single player should be playing to keep their shirt for the Wigan game.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

I agree with your 1 to 12. What about Welsby at loose forward? I think he could do very well in that position

I wouldn’t start Welsby at 13, being a middle at the start of the match is very intense and physical.
Matautia has started there before and is a strong defender so I’d have him there. I’ve liked Welsby coming on in the middle part way through a game to open things up, the amount of space that was created when he came on against Catalans was clear to see.

On Woolf's preview video he said that Bentley will play some part on Thursday

Knowles absence is just a little niggle, definitely back for Wigan game

Matautia 13 then, Welsby and Bentley on the bench along with Paasi and one of LMS/Amor.
