    If you have somebody else taking kicks you are taking that player out of the line, plus the Full Back who still has to hold to organise the line after tackle 1. It's not just about who can kick it the furthest, but laying the best defensive platform for the set as a whole.
    So based on that principle it’ll be JW if he’s a decent kicker.

    For drop outs and restarts, possibly. Though I've not seen much kicking from Welsby so I don't know how proficient he is.

    Obviously when it comes to conversions, the point above is irrelevant, I imagine the job for kicking at goal will fall to Dodd due to Makinsons foot issues.

    Dodd will kick the penalties and conversions unless he is injured
