I wonder if Gale's nose has been put out of joint by the Sezer signing? I said when the announcement was made that it would be interesting to see how that combination works. Both dominant halves who will want to call the plays. I can imagine Gale won't want to play second fiddle.

It's Gale back to Castleford then.

That's a plausible explanation. Leeds posters on RLFans are suggesting it came about when Agar picked him up on a number of errors in the Catalans game; but if he's worried about his position at the club Agar's criticism (said to have been supported by the other players), could easily have pushed him over the edge.

According to the news he has been stripped of the Captaincy for not acting in a way "not aligned to team trademarks". Don't know what that means, are they referring to Sponsors, or team ethics etc. Never seen anyone disciplined for that reason before.

That was my thoughts, probably can't get his own way with the Leeds structure.

I thought they were using 'trademarks' metaphorically rather than as a reference to an actual trademark infringement. I imagined they meant team values. But perhaps not, and the rumour about Gale refusing to use Leeds Building Society has some legs.

I was never that impressed with him before he had a golden couple of seasons at Cas, then as you say has done nothing of serious note since. I know Cas as a team bottled it against an ordinary Leeds side in that GF, but Gale was particularly anonymous. I think their 'Grand Final' was against us in the semi, which they were lucky to win.

Can Luke Gale throw a backward pass? Every time i watch Leeds he’s throwing borderline passes. Has he got pontoon eyes?

I see the Biggest Club in Superleague for fans behaviour are at it again. Alleged racial abuse against a Leeds player.

7,800 for a top of the table clash and 1st game back after winning the Challenge Cup. Worrying times for Rugby League I reckon?

Catalan don't bring any fans. If it was a top of the table versus the Goons or Dire probably 10k+ on a very bad weathered Saturday afternoon. We,ve lost around 2500 season ticket holders because of Covid.

You'll just have to attend every game possible and tell us all about it on here. I believe you can save rugby league. By yourself

Needs to worry more about the state his mighty Wigan are in rather than our attendance. Like 2006 all over again when they put the 'we had a bigger average attendance than Saints' cup in their trophy cabinet

It was a bit of a troll but the point is a real one , not just for Saints but for everyone.

Clubs could rely on charity and cardboard cut-outs when the pandemic started
but the last 18 months has changed everything.

Fans need to be encouraged back and then grown.

It was a very badly disguised dig at Saint's attendance this afternoon. Nothing else.
