looked mentally very detached from the game last night.
Just dissapointed by his post match comments, must be frustrated now unable to pick from a decent stronger squad.
Looks as though here in the UK its turning full circle for him, started his coaching career here with a busted squad and finishing his coaching career here with a busted squad.
I don't think his teams have been the most attacking or entertaining to watch teams. Saying that the defence has been great and 3 (hopefully 4 grand finals) on the trot has been a great achievement.
Can't blame him if NRL options come up which they inevitably will. If he goes thanks and good luck. Lets just hope that he can act as our eyes and ears down there and tip us off to a conveyor belt of good Tongans.
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." Danny Blanchflower.
Might have been written by a footballer about football - but never a truer word............

You're normally on the money - do you expect it to be Wellens or an external appointment?
Will be Wellens, 100% nailed on.
