SARL article, so take it with a pinch of salt, but were still interested in Ebon Scurr at Bradford apparently ...
Presumably. I thought when he'd been mentioned previously someone had said that Bulls weren't willing to let him go a year early without a fee and no-one would pay one. Unless we offered to loan him back for the season if they would release him early? Hopefully with John Kear having steered a player our way from the championship already in Walmsley he'll be able to encourage Scurr in our direction as well. I know who I'd want to play for if I was a young up and coming player.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.
That from 2 seasons ago, and some of his best action is against Academy players. I couldn't really find anything showing clips of him from the 2021 season. He is quite short for a modern prop at 5'10". I'm seeing shades of the Joe Philbins. Not saying he won't be a very good player, but he isn't a Walmsley-style player.

meanwhile Sneyd has joined Salford and Gale rumoured to be joining Hull.
Gale is 34 and one of the most injury prone players there is. He's also signing a 2 year deal?
I can only imagine they are making savings on this. But Salford signing Sneyd is also a weird one, how can lowly Salford afford Sneyd's wages?
and on a 3 year deal
Yeah. If I had to bet on what happens to them, they will get kicked out of the AJ Bell this season, end up at Salford's football ground and go through some financial trauma, emerging in League 1 with a rebrand. How Mark Sneyd and a big contract fit into that I've no idea.
