Incredible career and the fact he was the FIRST Black GB captain in ANY sport should be celebrated.

    Sadly left us too early.

David Lammy MP has Tweeted about it:

(just beware that amongst the replies, which are mostly very favourable, there are some some toxic replies having a go at Lammy and/or anti-racism)

It's good to see, even if the early morning version of it had him down as a Welsh Rugby Union player!

There's loads of Captain Kirk's here. I wouldn't mind showing some of their birds my tackling technique.

Has Dave Lammy ever seen a game of league or even know who Clive Sullivan is? Or is he just relishing in identity politics?

It’s David Lammy, I think you know the answer to those questions.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

If the 'identity politics' angle gets Lammy and many more looking at RL more (Lammy had at least done research) then it's a positive.

I get that there's a lot of white-nationalist anger amongst those with an Alt-right mentality but a lot of people follow Lammy, and as a sport we need all the exposure we can get.

Feel free to give yourself whatever label you want; I was just making a general point.

You know full well you was aiming your post at me.
I don’t understand how someone can be alt right for simply pointing out that Labour love to play identity politics. Its what they specialise in. Lammy is a top race grifter. Racism will always be around as long as we have folk like him mouthing off.
Labelling folk as alt-right simply for not liking Lammy/Labour is a very low blow. I don’t spend my days cutting eye holes in white bedsheets. FFS.
