My guess would be Coote and Percival to start based on what Woolf has said with Welsby on the bench along with Paasi then 2 of Amor, LMS, Batchelor, Wingfield. Rest of the side picks itself.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Yeah based on everyone being fit I would guess at:

Coote, Makinson, Naiqama, Percival, Grace, Lomax, Fages, Walmsley, Roby, Lees, Bentley, Thompson, Matautia
    SUBS: Welsby, Paasi, LMS, Amor

Dodd, Wingfield, Simm and Batchelor miss out.

If Percival isn't fit then either Simm straight in or Welsby centre and Dodd bench.

I just hope they know what they're doing with Percival and he gets through unscathed. If he starts and goes off again it'll be bordering on ridiculous.

So are we planning on Roby doing the full 80? Or do we think Theo will spell him with Dodd getting a go at 7

I notice Eastmond isn’t in the Rhinos squad.

From what Woolf said about finding a place in the side for Welsby he’d slot in at centre if Percival didn’t make it with Dodd likely coming on the bench.

I think they’ll use Roby for as long as they need to with Fages to hooker, Welsby to stand off being the option to cover injury or for if we’re comfortably ahead with 20 to go.

And yet Luke Gale is, despite him supposedly being out for 2-3 weeks.

Possibly. We could spell Roby with Welsby but he looks a bit tall to be bending his back at dummy half.

I really hope we start to see this and particularly hope we don't continue to flog Roby for 70/ 80 mins each game. Think it's been noticeable that Smith only came on with 5 to go against Salford and just under 20 to go against KR before going off. Think if he was seen as a long term replacement he'd be getting longer minutes by now. I think Fages looks more like a 9 than a 7 anyway, and spelling Dodd with Roby would be a great way to a) see how Fages fares at 9 and more importantly b) give Dodd enough game time to continue his development

That was my thoughts too although didn't he bring Dodd on as hooker a couple of times last year or have I just imagined that?

Yes he did. I thought it was a good way to get him used to the physicality of super league by having to make a lot of tackles on forwards in a short space of time.

I’d go with the squad numbers 1-18 to be honest, though I can see Batchelor getting on the bench instead.

I thought so, no real issue with it myself although it would be nice to see him come and take some kind of controlling role (from SH), especially if we're leading by a few tries.

As has been discussed previously I think bringing Dodd on for game time at 7 and seeing how Fages goes at 9 would be useful to give us an idea of how things can work going forwards.

Probably not in a cup game. I know Leeds are without some players, and on paper anyway they're weaker than us at full strength. But still have nightmares about losing big games to Leeds sides we really should have been beating.

You maybe don't want to drop him, but you don't leave him at 1 if Coote is ready to go, regardless of how well he has played. Coote is enormous for us, we are a better side when he plays, and Welsby should not be a consideration for the 1 shirt when LC is fit.

2009 the last time we beat Leeds in a knockout game, be nice to get that monkey off our backs.

Don't think Dodd will be in the 17. Welsby will cover for Percival and Coote, Matautia can also play centre at a push if both Percy and Coote break down .
