Excellent, could be another legendary player to be put on the stadium wall when he retires, the epitome of loyalty to the club from the big fella.
That's fantastic news. I'm pretty sure he could have his pick of NRL clubs if he wanted to.
I can't see any reference to it in the article itself but the subject line of the club's email suggests that Simm and Wingfield have also signed new deals.

Superb signing for the club well deserved
Just need to sign Bentley up now
Fantastic news.
Great news but I always expected him to sign a new long term deal. He said himself about 3 years ago prior to him signing his previous deal that if he didn't move to the NRL then he was never going to do it and he's been good to his word.
Bentley and Knowles are the ones that concern me. Both fantastic players. Think Bentleys contract is up end of this season and Knowles the next.
Anyway, back to Walmsley. Brilliant loyalty he has shown to the club and what a signing he has been for us. Fantastic news

Been a fantastic player for the club. Never in any doubt when he takes to the field that he will give 100% for the club.
It also gives us a platform to build upon on the next few years if other players do decide to take on a challenge in the NRL.
Great news.
In my opinion, we would likely have got to the GF and won it in 2018 if it wasn’t for his injury.
Can't stop the spirits when they need you.
This life is more than just a read through.
Terrific news
Imagine the size of the Statue.
Absolutely amazing news!
What a guy, and what a player! Top man Engy.
Excellent news, a true Saint! Good work by the club. There was a time I thought he might go to the NRL, best prop in the country!
Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional
Great to see a player that has plenty to give, and gives it all every week, commit to the club.
Great news. Best prop in the country. Great work by the club. The club haven’t always given long deals to players over 30 but Walmsley isn’t the type to be complacent. He will play to his best until the day he retires.
screaming in the family corner, scaring the kiddies
Great news.
Considering the neck injury that he had, his work rate and commitment to the Saints cause has actually gone up since then and he's become a better player. It's a great bit of business for both parties. Alex has committed to the club that supported him through very dark times and the club has rewarded him with a nice long contract.
It seems that loyalty from both sides still exists sometimes.
Shocked when i saw the news. How good is that.. GET IN
Great News adds to our continuity very pleased
