Fages is decent in parts but he shouldn’t be starting scrum half for the best team in the league. Badly need Coote back because he can’t control a game at all.

...he goes to the video ref for that attempt?
Simm having a bit of a 'mare.
Welsby looking good.
Leonard the world's oldest paperboy should be nowhere near refereeing Super league

Have we never heard of dummy runners?
Smith is going to have a brain like grated cheese later in life.
I don't think I have ever seen a team whose half backs get caught with the ball as often as ours do.

You've gotta love Steve Clarke - Not convinced there's any part of the ball on the ground, when the picture shows its just the entire length of the ball.
I love Lomax as a player but made too many wrong decisions today.

Smith needs to think of his long term health soon, every other game he's having a HIA. Can't be good for him at all. Maybe wear a scrum cap too, I know it doesn't stop the biggest knocks but takes some of the force out of people's elbows/knees etc.

That was a bit better.
The amount of times Lomax is taking the ball in because there’s no space on the outside is ridiculous. The Leeds game will be interesting because although they aren’t great they’re a clear step up on Kr and Salford, we’ll need to play much better than this.
Great performance from Welsby.
Marks out of 10 for that performance? I'd say a 7
Ultimately, that scoreline flatters us a bit. That first eight minutes and the second try was brilliant, that second try and the offloads and support play was as good as some of the stuff we saw 15-20 years ago and we looked as though we’d go on and put sixty on them. After that, the momentum was crushed by a whistle happy Hicks and then some pretty good defence from both sides and the scoreline flatters us as Hull KR were very good in defence. That said, Welsby had his best game at fullback and was excellent, though our attacking structure was spoilt without Coote there.
Think it’ll be the first time in years that I’ve slept well the day before Good Friday. I hate this day normally.

Would like to see Mata'utia given a run at centre.
Hicks was poor. We got the better of the decisions, but as has been said, he's so inconsistent within games. And has spells of being really picky and pedantic. Ruins the game.
2 games in,conceded one try. Our main player in Coote is missing. No Knowles so Sione is having to play in the middle. No Percy and no Paasi. I will take were we are and be quite happy with it.
Can we improve? Undoubtedly and I'm sure we will as the weeks go by.
Welsby's starting to come into his own. Amor looks a totally different player. Sione hits hard. Be great having him and Knowles in the same side.
